I see the files, compare to the real data I have, and this look like fantasy formula mod not even close to the real F1. f1ligue dont even try to collect minimum of the real data actual F1 car... 99% of rF1 mods are ugly and bad, both with physics, graphics even sounds was terrible. We dont want that situation on rF2. I you are making F1@2012...then read technical regulation for this season, by all season collect data and information from interviews of F1 engineers and THEN do the mod. People if you are making car mod for rF2. Collect all possible real data, even if this could take you 1-2 years...and when you have this all then make a car...dont do fantasy mods!
Who are you to tell us what to do? If you want to play it's your choice. As I already announced here on this forum there will be more posting on the progress of the mod.
This thread is so funny !! Use your energy to create a good mod and stop losing your time to answer all these little points that good mates tell you about. All this points are relevant. Do something, take it and work it. Please, stop moaning each time you get an observation.
For some reason I can get no feel for the car. I don't have any driving aids enabled, so one of the first issues I saw was the clutch. You can so easily stall the engine that it's nearly ridiculous. I'm not able to get out of the garage smooth, I'm always revving into the rev limiter, because the gas is almost like 0 or 1. If I spin and press the clutch, the engine stalls nevertheless. Another point which may come with the gas pedal is, that you spin very easily. It's not a normal oversteer or slide, it's like a icy surface you hit with one wheel. But, not to be only negative: The mod is making good progress (I've tested v1.0 as well). The car is actually fun to drive despite those points mentioned above and with more tweaks it could be even better.
Hi Guys Very good MOD so far, I can see good progress, one point I would like to make (forgive me if this has already been said) The car seems to battle on high speed corners, turn 3 (if we call it a turn its more like a slight straight) on Malaysia should be flat but I have to lift quite considerably otherwise the car understeers in to the gravel but more than understeer it doesnt allow you to turn the wheel enough. I have watched video edits on F1.com to clarify my thoughts and there is a onboard lap of Lewis Hamilton with a throttle graphic graphic showing that his foot is flat. I have the same problem in all of the high speed corners. I have changed the setup but ever with full downforce it still wont turn. Other than that the physics are feeling pretty good especially in the low speed corners.
So wet tyres are still faster in dry. i thought that was supposed to get fixed? Just tested it myself and was able to do 1s per lap faster laptimes with wets than drys in dry track What makes that horrible for online racing you cant know if someone uses those, even if someone uses wets it still looks in monitor like hes using drys.
Physical: we have new people who will help us to develop and correct the physical version Finale. For those who send me emails of support and encouraged me to continue here the reports created by the Mclaren F1LIGUE!
stop with your tires ... there is not even walk on the temperatures that RF2 is how the tires want to create without seeing their temperature? their degradation? this is impossible and all the world now have the same problem as us. wait, it will be correct but that ISI will update their game
