Please have a look on the car's body. It's very often to see this sort of metal reflection in RF2. Of course, it's a forward step in comparison to the almost absent RF1 reflections. But it’s still weird. Note that the car looks like to be frozen or enveloped in those plastic films for food packing (polyvinyl). It seems like there’s a second material on the car inducing the reflection. It’s hard to explain since I’m not a native speaker, but still…

The alpha channel is what is responsible for the reflections on the cars. The way it is being treated is pretty much as you suggest with the wrap or second skin idea. Think of it as a clear coat on top of the actual paint. In the alpha channel, you can modify the levels to get the reflection level you want on the car. No alpha channel results in a car that is 100% reflective, and not very good looking. By lightening or darkening the alpha channel you can add more or less reflection.

Here is an example with Alpha turned darker about about 33%

BTW, make sure when you save the skin to a DDS file that you choose DX5 with alpha. :)

This skin has the black elements as white in the alpha channel to make them very reflective.

This skin i left the black elements with the standard alpha channel.

I've made a few more colour combinations of this skin which i'll sit on for a few days before i finalise them, if anyone has any colour scheme suggestions or requests just let me know and i'll include them with the next batch, along with whatever racing number you want.

If I had to guess it's the second chicane at Monza. The RFE version for rF1. Has it been converted to rF2?

Though looking at the car, the shaders are more consistent with rF1. rF2, the cars look flat. This one has depth.

This is a fantastic screenshot though. Tosch, You've always been a great artist in the way you present your shots. Yours have always been top quality, well among the best ever seen. But I'm sure this isn't rF2.

I will continue to post some WSGT2 screenshots since they have said that they probably will make it for rF2 too(not all cars):

I think you should leave them the desicion to post becase all WSGT2 screenshots are made in rf1 or atleast wait for rf2 screenshots and who knows what cars will be actually for rf2. Maybe none of those youre posting here and that youre just deceiving people and give them empty hopes.
