you mean the search function that makes you type in a code to do each search and then gives you results from rF1 and rF2? that one?
IIRC it's 8.8.8.8 ARGB. I COULD be mistaken--I don't work with the UI elements that much. I THINK that's what it was. I'll try to double check my answer in the morning...
Click advanced search, then click search single content type. It'll take you here, where you can specify which forums are searched. http://isiforums.net/f/search.php?search_type=1
Normally when in a Mas it's easy to find out the DDS format used by using the Properties. This new Mas gives you this This shows 0 Mips and no other info that indicates the format used. And yes I have looked a number of DDS's in a number of Mas files with the same Properties windowed every time. Even the 0 Mip I know is wrong because I opened a DDS and it does have mip mapping. This one below is the older version from rF1 and you can see the settings clearly. Can we use the older version? Never mind I'll find that out soon enough. But will the new version be brought back up to the same standard as the old one? [Edit;]Ok version 2.0 will not open Mas files made by Mas 2.4. Shame but not unexpected. I'll assume the Mas tool is still a Beta.
Need some help here, please. Creating a *RFM.mas file and a vmod from that both the xyzMODicon.dds and xyzMODMSicon.dds don't show up in rF mod selection screen when saved in the above mentioned file format. Is there anything I am missing? Do I have to 'merge visible' or 'flatten image' in photoshop before saving as .dds or something like that? Do I have to let mipmaps be created or not (both ways are descibed as the correct way when searching this forum...). Any other settings that are necessary in the dds format selection screen? Weird thing is I got it working when creating another vmod back in march (not sure about the file format/compression I used back then though), but I can't find my mistake this time. I am sure it's my mistake as when I use the TestingMODicon.dds and TestingMODSMicon.dds they do show up. Updated Nvidia plugin without success. Thanks in advance
I think required dds format has changed little bit during beta. 8.8.8.8 ARGB 32 bpp (unsigned ) format WITHOUT alpha channel should work. Original ISI template contains alpha, which prevented my track icons working correctly. I hit my head to the wall some time, until I realized what was going on... Cheers!
Thanks a lot, deleting the alpha channel was the solution. (for the record: 8.8.8.8 ARGB 32 bpp (unsigned) / 2D texture / no MIP maps for both .dds files)
Hi everyone I need help, please. I have this dds icon (I have tried with 16 bits, 24 bits and 32 bits): View attachment 3648 And when I package mod, I see the icon as follows: View attachment 3649 I don't understand because I have other dds icon done and I can see correctly: View attachment 3650 And other thing... why I see after this icon as follows? Is this normal? View attachment 3651 I have done and packaged in the same mod this dds icon...: View attachment 3652 Thanks a lot.
I'm hopeless when it comes to graphics stuff (still struggling with GIMP, don't really understand what I'm doing) so I've no idea about your main icon looking like it's too big. As for the smaller icon shouldn't it be named meganeJDT_RFMSMICON instead of meganeJDT_RFMMICON, which could be why it isn't showing up?
Hi How to register these two files and DDS ICON SICON I can not, with only two files there The mod is ok but side RFM nada: ( So all work but no display when selecting mod. Give me your recipe please thank you
