I remember Tim showed these screenshots some time back showing you can edit the HDR profiles; is this possible yet and if so where can you do it? The only HDR related menu item i see is 'on/off'
Inside the game you'll find a HDR Profile box, but it's empty. I'm sure we'll see progress on this during the beta phase.
I thought those screens were showing the left image without HDR and the right image with HDR, I don't recall being able to edit in that way.......I'm frequently wrong though, lol.
In the viewer (which wasn't in this first beta release) is an... HDR profile editor. You'll be able to use it to create you own profiles for a track's layout(s), and the saved files get put in the corresponding folder in the userdata/player/settings folders. You can then use that selector to choose HDR profiles to pick the one you want.
Sounds like a great idea to have it on a per-track basis, as i can see for example doing a big adjustment on Spa but a small one on Mills.
Old thread but is it possible to select an HDR profile? I'm seeing an empty box as well, which is kinda puzzling since it's been a long time since Scott posted about it being WIP.
thanks a lot dude! i set it to none at LRP, but when i go to track again its set en the defaul value "realistic clear". Im supposed to change it to none every time?
I think with this "un offical" build some things are dissabled or broke in regards to saved settings , I noticed trying to change my assigned set up in garage that it will revert back to the original assigned set up every time i rejoin a server ,this and the rubber files 'not sticking' and going to green in P1 everytime ,altho they said they worked with realroad/rubber so that's expected I assume as somthings changed ther ..lol but I think/hope we will have an "offical" update /build comming sooner than later with these small things all buttoned up ~~ .. ;-)
Guys... I don`t seem to have a HDR Profile box in the race settings screen. I did a full install of b125.
Sluis -I tried this but it made the other track look very dark ( long beach ) (copied lime rock park ) Not sure if I'm doing something wrong though
Yeah, if ISI could give us some insight/clue about creating a general HDR profile, that would be very helpful.
