Hi. Probably shouldn't blame ISI for nvidia drivers. When I ran SLI new games almost always ran better with it disabled, until nvidia released drivers with support for the game. Going by what i've seen other games devs say, sli compatibility isnt something you program in the game, nvidia handles that with the drivers. i.e. DirectX doesn't support sli Think i remember 1 dev calling sli a directX hack.
yeah, I tried ti 290.53 too, no luck... NVidia added the first profile for rFactor 2 in the 258.58 drivers, they got released in October 2011. Could believe that both side's got a job to do... tried also creating a custom profile for the rfactor2.exe and to set physicX to the 2nd card while telling the profile to use the 1st card didn't help in any way but had no mood to try a workaround with the SLI bits, keeping that for the weekend by the way, the developer version is working with SLI enabled to get at least an impression on what to expect. made me turn around 10 rounds on the keyboard, even that catched me
In the Launcher, you can select between Single-Player, Multi-Player and Developer. Developer has currently only one oval track and two open-wheeler, no animated objects nor high detail Grafik but at least something to look at
has anyone tried the evga sli enhancer apparently its meant to dramatically improve sli support for new games you need to be registered with evga and i dont know if you need to have evga cards haven't tried it my self but ill try it tomorrow when i can get my hands on a prepaid credit card to buy the game ill let you know how it goes
i said would report back on the sli enhancer and.... it does nothing thought i fixed it rolling back drivers but when i did that it disabled sli -_-
Hi, maybe this can help http://http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/2245-graphic-stuttering-%28solved%29-and-SLI
My data fps 2xGTX 580 SLI / i7 3930K sokt 2011 3,2ghz / 16 GB ram ~130 fps without SLI HDR off 150 fps ~30 fps with SLI I have been using 290.53 all along.
Hi Guys! I´ve got a 9600gt...it´s a bit old video card but not a bad one...I´m struggling to get a 30fps rate with everything medium...I have another 9600gt...should I plug it in and try in sli mode? Any suggestions?
I've tried it, no luck EVGA 460 SLi running on i7 2600K @5.0 I got 7-8 fps with SLI enabled all settings maxed out, SLI disabled - 30 fps in average
SLI I also have two GTX460 TOP cards running in SLI mode. Have 4 GIG corsair ram and AMD dual CPU. I very much want rF2 to take full advantage of my SLI configuration. Mike
Not really.. the conclusion that the OP reached was.. 'Now, It's perfect I have no FPS loss, it's incredibly smooth(even in Mills). But only with SLI off.'
Yes it is a bit of a pain having to switch back to SLI and reset the triple monitor setup in the Nvidia control panel every time I finish with RF2.
Win 7 64bit / 8Go Ram / 2 x Nvidia 580 SLI 2 driver 290.53 / Triple monitors / i7 3930K socket 2011 3,2ghz / ~120 fps without SLI HRD on (one monitor 1920x1080) ~150 fps without SLI HDR off (one monitor 1920x1080) ~40 fps with SLI HDR off (one monitor 1920x1080) ~20 fps with SLI HDR off ( triple monitors 5760x1080) wait nvidia releases new drivers with SLI profile for rF2 or ISI fix.
