Couldn't find any posts re Nvidia SLI mode.

I have 2 x Gigabyte Ti560oc in SLI mode with latest Nvidia drivers.

Framerate is halved with SLI enabled.

Does anyone know what maybe the problem or have tried some other settings in the Nvidia software to make SLI work ?

It worked ok in rFactor I think.

    cheers :)

Yep I seem to be having the same problem..

I have 2 GTX590s in SLI - Even with all of the Graphics Candy Turned down I cant break past 38fps.... I also have the latest drivers and get over 120fps playing Battlefield 3.

Any suggestions to help here would be great :)

I had the same problem and fixed it in the Nvidia control panel by adding a 3D profile specific to rfactor2.

Create a profile specific to the the rfactor2.exe (not the launcher) and set SLI Rendering mode to - "Force alternate frame rendering 2"

    Big improvement in framerates.

Same problem here. I will try the fix listed above. I am running dual 560tis in SLI mode.

I have tried both AFR2 and AFR1 and both are terrible.

Best to just turn SLI off until they figure out what's wrong with it.

    GTX 580 SLI / i7 920 / 12 GB ram

    ~70 fps without SLI
    ~10-20 fps with SLI

AFR2 makes a SLIGHT increase in fps but still unplayable.

What's going on ISI? Some input would be great.

Sadly the same here. GTX570 SLI, 80fps without SLI, 11 with SLI. AFR2 gives me maybe 1 or 2 fps gain.

    Remember guys, its BETA software.

I am also having the SLI issues with two GTX480's

60FPS without SLI enabled. About half of that when it is enabled.

It looks like its trying to use the 2nd vidcard as from MSI afterburner if you enable onscreen % of GPU usage you can see in real time that some of the card is in use about 15% max but then the 1st vidcard usage drops down dramatically.

So it looks as if the game engine is not utilising the GPU configuration correctly or maybe a Nvidia driver issue ?

Not tested yet with only one card, but 460 SLI and FPS are very bad, I will test with only one card and the profile indicated tonight ...

Yep as expected I have Turned off SLI mode (now running only one 27inch screen), the FPS at SPA and Monaco are above 150fps (with Vsync Off)... From what I can see there are some dramatic Improvements from Rf1, just hope that we can get 3 screens working as well as one....

I had to disable SLI completely to get decent fps. I tried just to enable Single-GPU from the nvidia software but that doesn't work with rF2 for some reason.

Is this a known bug or is rFactor2 just not designed for running SLI ?

Not quite sure what you mean by enable single gpu in Nvidia control panel. I get about 10fps with SLI enabled and if I disable it in the control panel fps shoot up to the 100 range with my gtx580.

I don't know anyone who has SLI working in RF2 yet but it worked in RF1 so either ISI need to code it or Nvidia need to supply a profile in a future driver.

    Setup: Win 7 64-bit, i7 920, 12 GB RAM, 2 x Nvidia GTX 275 w/ most recent official Nvidia drivers

I noticed in single-monitor SLI that one GPU was at 99% usage and the other at ~30%. That's strange, they should be about the same. Also, memory usage is way low... iRacing, for example takes almost 850 MB of the 896 MB available. rF2 is using about 325 MB yet has more complex graphics. The framerate hovers around 30-40.

Triple-monitor SLI with two cards (Nvidia Surround mode) results in both cards almost 100% GPU usage and card memory usage is quite low. Frame rate in this configuration is 15-30 fps.

So, I'd say in this beta release that there's a definite problem here with rF2 and how it's interacting with Nvidia drivers.

I have two Nvidia Gforce GTX 560 TIs in SLI mode. I dedicated one card to PhysX and set the other to do the rendering. Works great at Ultra vid settings in rF2. I am using Nvidia driver ver 8.17.12.9053 12/17/2011.

Does rF2 use PhysX? That's going to make me buy a 3rd card if true. :D

RF2 doesn't even use a second GPU properly at the moment so don't get too excited mate

I have been using 290.53 all along. Sometimes the issues are related to Nvidia with new games and SLI, but it could be a little of both as it is only Beta.
