    First bug report :)

Click on purchase tab and get message:

"Starting secure connection with commerce servers."

However checking network activity I see 0 (zero) outgoing packets - no network activity present at all from starting rFactor 2 to three minutes of watching the secure connection message. All other networked systems are A-OK.

Have, Windows 7 Ultimate and Ralink RT61 wireless card.

    Ta.

I have the same problem. Windows 7 Profesional. When I click in purchase I get message "Starting secure connection with commerce servers" and I cannot buy a license.

it did that to me when the servers were under strain, but I was able to get passed it later on.

If you have "starting secure..." message turn into "failed..." then close down the launcher, wait a few seconds then open it up again.

When you get beyond the "starting secure..." message it should load your purchase options, if it doesn't load the buttons, colours and images immediately, it might take a little while. If nothing changes, again...close down the launcher, wait a few seconds and try again.

As I said, this happened to me to start of with, but I was able to complete the sign up and activation process eventually, I did not need to tweak any internet settings to do it either.

The problem is we're not even getting to the fail message. Just sits idle on 'starting secure...."

And I take it that none of us can easily connect to a wired connection?

Eurecaaaaa! the person with windows 7 and have a wireless connection you must also enable the network card (Local Area Connection). Run as administrator go to the tab "Purchase" wait a few seconds and ready! In my case it worked! :D
