Just having some fun in the 1960s F1 cars I'm looking to make more videos like this so feedback would be fantastic !

ha, I enjoyed that very much James, you did the voice yourself? I was thinking it sounded old timey as hell, well done =)

During the first few corners I actually thought that you had taken race commentary from actual race, but then I noticed your screen name and ofcourse the commentary was commentating about your driving in the game, unless you tried to replicate a to be honest, bad race=)

That said, you are are lightyears faster than me!, I cannot for the life of me make a single fast lap at Monaco, the corners at hotel get me every damn time, and the corner after the tunnel, with the lights in my face I'm almost always wiping out if I'm going for a fast lap.

 

Well done James !! Keep 'em coming!!

How come my videos arent viewable here like everyone elses?

 

AWESOME JOB

1. Maybe try saying "mad" "madness" "pure madness" "lunacy" or some other word instead of crazy
2. Maybe try saying "Somebody" "Someone" "Theres been" "And a lock up from someone" instead of "a guy"
3. Maybe try to put a black and white filter over it, or sepia, or a really washed out early colour tv look
4. Maybe try adding a filter to make the sound effects seem more lower quality sort of like what you did with your voice (more distortion, less clear, lower khz etc)
5. Maybe do the same with the video to make it look more like a tv broadcast rather than a nice sharp current look.

Options 4 and 5 may make the game seem lower quality to viewers who dont know that you did it on porpuse so its kind of a tough call.

These are just nitpicks, but I honestly thought you did an incredible job, I thought you naturally had that accent too until I read that you still need to work on it. Other than those 2 words i pointed above, the entire way you spoke seemed very british 60's/70's ish and I almost thought it was a real race commentary for a while, incredible!

Again, these are just nitpicks to something thats already a 9 or 9.5 out of 10
Ive watched the video 4 times now haha, awesome stuff!

 

When you make a post look for the icon that looks like a film if u hover mouse over it it will say "insert film" then paste the link in that

 

Aweome vid. A grain filter and black and white would be even more awesome I agree with spinelli's feedback. Very cool though!
