The three videos, which were unlisted, featured the F1 32 Special from 'Grand Prix' (driven by Pete Aron), Monaco, and the Renault Megane III.
I'm excited about driving and testing rF2 also. Will be giving feedback on an single card ATI 6970 Eyefinity setup and AMD Phenom II processor system. I've been reading countless posts and infos that are posted. Great stuff!
Been there, done that, was quite nice actually. It really affects the flight though, and the elasticity of the balls. Makes a soft tour ball feel like a Rock Flite.
Thats because the damn thing is FROZEN...... Unlike your own which would be made of pure titanium for playing in those temps.....impressive
I live in Finland. If it weren't for the courses closing down I'd play year round. Thankfully there's disc golf, a great reason to go out when it's -4 Fahrenheit.
I must say I am pretty lucky. I live less than 2 minutes from that course, its beutiful, you see whales playing off of the beach, the greens are great all year round (except for the month of maintenance) and the Beer is cheap....could be worse ways to kill a day
A bit less of a hippie look at the subject, at least some of these guys can throw the damn thing properly over 500'. =) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMOavzoBre8
Very impressive...would love to have a go but I always sucked at the frisbee...that looked pretty cool fun though.
I bet you sucked at golf when you started too. =) Give it a try sometime, it's a hoot and three quarters. =) You only need one disc to start with (less than 10 USD) and most of the courses are free.
I still suck at golf...LOL.... Will have to check out to see if there is anything local Could be a lot of fun with mates and an esky full of beer EDIT: Looks like there are some in Perth...might have to get my mates out for a go next time I am up there...got a mate who HATES golf...I reckon he will be up for this though
Nice. =) If you want pointers, Discraft (one of the biggest companies in the game) has a line of tutorial videos at YouTube, the Basics of throwing and putting are a great start if you want to get a head start. But it's definitely not about the technique or the score, it's just about having fun. =) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sgn6Os4YSW0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4spUSMi6xm0
Be prepared for your shoulder to ache after the first time you go! LOL! I played 3 courses in one day once....once.... You can't beat it for for cheap and fun entertainment though. I got a bag full of discs sitting next to my desk.
Just seen Gjons thread, got my knickers in a twist trying to decide whether to bunk off work today!...choose not too...
I reckon Gjon is teasing... Hell I know I would be if I was in his position... Man I would have fun, put up a post saying...postponed for another 6 months, than note each whiner and insulter and somehow make sure they cant be part of the release that happens the next day.... OH TO HAVE THAT POWER....LOL
