With the minimum you'll certainly be viewing bare minimum, be warned. :)

The 64bit mention is because the software will use as much RAM as you can. 32bit can only use about 3.5GB or so.

Even with my old PC I can easily meet recommended specs: can't wait to see the game in action!

I built a computer back in January almost exclusively rFactor 2. I think I overshot a little. :)

    Intel 2600K
    Nvidia GTX 460
    8GB of RAM

Pretty sure it will be optimised to use as much cores as possible. As 4 cores are almost the standard now I'll bet some good money that 4 cores at 3 GHz will be faster than 2 cores at 3.2 GHz.

    I only exceed minimum requirements barely (2.67 Ghz Core 2, 2GB-ram, 8800 GTS 312mb.
Assuming requirements get harder every year (like rF1 did)...I think I'll upgrade my pc.

When rFactor1 came out, the above pc could easily handle it, but right now, with Game Stock Car pushing the limits of rF1, it also hurts my pc on max settings.

Exactly, so here we go, what's needed to run an online race with 50 insanely high poly cars on a raining night on a busy track at maximum graphic details, rocksolid 60fps, without a single frame drop neither at the start, and possibly zero lag and no disconnections?

As usual, the more the better ;) I think nobody can predict how a 40 cars high poly under rain would affect the game....Simply because we doesn't have any high-poly mod at the moment ;)
Just a question: 4and 8 core will affect more the game than an improved graphic card or is it better to have one of the latest beasts on a "simple" core i7?
