I think I saw DJC offroad at Spa in the screenshot thread. Blackwood rallycross, Croft and Lienz have offroad too but I don't know if you can get to Lienz offroad from the layout Mario converted. There is also Lienz, Monaco and the big daddy of them all Route 666 for tarmac testing. Transfagarasan has some nice hairpins, too. I could also convert the gravel version of Transfagarasan (26km long) which might be the ultimate test if you are interested.

Has anyone been able to convert or replicate a non-asphalt RBR track? RBR is still impressive in terms of the detailed road surfaces in its tracks. Not just endless repeating patterns of bumps or textures, but hand-crafted, authentic reproductions of real rally tracks, with all the character that they bring to the "game."

rF2 tracks require that level of detail, but we rarely see it, even with the asphalt tracks. If we could get even one loose-surface track created/converted with all the imperfections and unique features it would provide a worthy test bed for the various car mods that people will want to try (to build). I'd be interested in knowing whether rF2 is even currently capable of reproducing a surface as complex as a typical RBR track. The new Quad track doesn't (yet) demonstrate that level of detail.

The other day I was surprised to read the amount of road surfaces which simulates RBR:

"RBR initially has a total of 132 different surfaces (be it road surfaces or elements such as different types of rocks, water... even several types of bushes and poles!)."

    http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/Comparison_of_racing_simulators

RF2 will be able to do something similar or better?
I hope so, time tell us.
