Actually i'm driving with FVA (adrenaline pack), and specially the 458 Challenge (i don't like too much open-wheelers, i prefer a lot more GT cars). Anyway..what a beautiful car, really fun to drive! The FFB is the most accurate ffb i ever found in a simulation. You can feel really well what the car is doing in every instant..you can feel really well weight transfer ecc.. It's hard to explain with words but..is simply great. I hope rF2 will be same accuracy about FFB! for me is the new reference point about FFB.
Best sim is Reizas GameStockCar, Amazing things they done with the old game engine they use. No one gets dissapointed when trying it F3 car is by far best simulator out there
Hmmm... Amiga user were you? I spent hours playing all these titles too, I loved playing Stunt Car Racer head-to-head with my buddies, and we'd also spend all night playing F1 Grand Prix... where multi-user was you driving for a few laps... then AI took over your car and the next guy got to drive for a few laps... etc. Great fun!
Yes, it was great fun We drove basically same titles as you. We actually put two Amigas together with RS-232 cable for "real multiplayer experience". Those events lasts days spending big amounts of beer and pizza...
The feeling that gives me the NKP I have been very few mods to rfactor , is a simulator that I fall from the first day I test it Greetings Tony. P.S Sorry for my English.
Certainly was! Original A500 with the 0.5Mb RAM upgrade! God knows how many thousands of attempts I had at trying to win a Indy 500 race. I think only a handful of times I qualified on pole but never managed to win a race (even the 10 lapper!). Stunt Car Racer was great, ahead of its time for physics that's for sure!
Stunt Car Racer was genius, doing the proper speed to gauge the standalone sections was tricky! I had a steering wheel with motion sensors on it for the Amiga500, meant you could hold it in front of you without the need to fix it to anything. Like the image below but mine did'nt have those funky pedals unfortunatley! Had to tilt it forwards to accelerate and backwards to brake....very odd but it worked! I remember buying IndyCar Racing 2 (PC) and needing an extra 2mb of RAM as it required 4mb to run....those were the days!!
I must say I wasn't aware you could get a steering wheel back then for the A500...I'm impressed! Stunt Car Racer, nothing like cranking on the boost and watching the crack slowly creep across the roll bar as you take-off for yet another 200 metre jump lol
Kunos writes the best FFB out there. He doesn't saturate the FFB with suspension forces. I think that's why you can feel the tires much more in his FFB.
The LFS guys have the best tire model i`ve ever seen. The problem with lfs are the guys themselves. There is so much potential in this sim an they do nothing over months and months for the community. But LFS as a driving simulator is one of the best. My wish for the future is a laser scanned track for rfactor2. Just to test out what rf2 really is. There is too much room to fake bumps and so on. ISI has the option for LIDAR tracks. Unfortunately only for rf Pro. iracing has the problem, in my opinion, the physics are not really comprehensible. The ffb in rf2 is great but i think in some days a neighbour will knockin`on my door because of the scary noises. But... Well done ISI. great Job so far.
Noobracers list with the games you added, it's just perfect, i played indy 500 and GP2 for a stupid amount of time, eheheheh
IR- To much talking,Ads,Money. Simbin- Beat the crud out of Race Seris (to many titles for 1 sim) RFactor- Although No real InGame career achievements avaliable- Still the best Sim on the Market! Just get the Sounds right cause GTR3 isnt playing around with that.
