I promised Scott I wouldn't tell anybody what track he's working on, but I have to say it is NOT the 'ring. Have to squish that one so it doesn't start to gain weight as a rumor. :)

Are you really going to ask "is it..." for every single long race track? :)

The work you are all putting into this is amazing and Im really looking forward to checking it out!

A stab in the dark about the mystery track. Is it Charade aka Clermont-Ferrand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charade_Circuit)? Unlikely I suppose but its worth a shot :)

Thanks again for all your hard work with both rF1 and the upcoming rF2.

Well it wouldn't be a bad idea to just start listing all the old, LARGE circuits just as a reference and wishlist to the ISI team. Maybe give them some ideas. Doesn't have to be famous to be fun.

Corsica does exist. Its more a rally course but sprints are more fun than circuits.

when Scott says "Historic track" I feel that may mean a track from the past that might not be here anymore or a track thats still going but undergone major changes and he's doing the old version. Therefore as much as I would love Bathurst to be in RF2 from release, I doubt it is what Scotts referring too.

I wouldnt really describe Bathurst as a big track in the grand scheme of things. It's got to be a 60's era spa-esque track, i think. Spa alone will be glorious, anything along those lines will be a bonus

I know they do rallys there.

But does the track represent the actual roads?
I thought it was a fictional layout in a real environment.

    Anyway, doesnt matter.

    But speaking of rally/hillclimb stages,
i wonder when we get more information on that kind of racing in rf2 :)

After watching your excellent Spa Video, a quick check in the "List of Formula One Circuits" @ Wikipedia and the description of the track

i came to the conclusion that i have found your little secret. Vettel and Co. would wet their pants if they have to drive there. With all the elavation changes and close to track objects (great sense of speed) it would be a great addition to the old Spa track. If i'am wrong, maybe it is a worthy future project.

Don't know about you all but I'm quite bored by funny guessing games, "Maybe Spa, Nurburgring either" blablabla

2011 is almost halfway through and the game's engines is improving quickly.
