Great details on that Q&A, specially with the vid. Thanks for that, ISI and for the attention to our comments, we really appreciate this kind of feedback!

Speaking of brake pads and so, it would be very good not only to have discs brakes as the only parameter for brake fading. In real life, what most determines this is the fade temperature of brake fluid (and pad fade temperature, not discs, actually), which gains and loses temperature (specially once the fluid has boiled) with different timing than those on the discs. If you can take this as a constructive criticism, I think it was one of rF1's least convincing features and surely it is not the hardest issue to fix.

Keep it up guys and PLEASE, don't rush it :)

Looks great, just one question for me - will multiple different qualifying formats be available i.e) knock out F1 style etc?

No mention of the old cars being included in rF2.

I am both sad and disappointed by this news. :(

It`s mentioned many times, that work on rF2 will not stop after initial release. The biggest question for me is what the payment system will be for rF2? Because to work hard on rF2 after release you will possibly need continuous payments. "We have our own online distribution system in development." - leads me to speculations that rF2 may have subscription system like iR. And I can not afford it. It will be very sad.

If not at release, nothing saying we can't add them later. For instance, I eventually want to bring all the old rF1 tracks up to date--we'll get there :)

Thanks for a very interesting thread guys. I've been trying not to expect too much from rF2, but now you've gone and made me a little frisky in the expectations department! :->

Good luck as you work towards a release date, whenever that may be. I'm 47 though, so some time before 2025 would be appreciated. After that I'll probably be too senile to remember where I left my PC... or even what PC stands for. ;-)

Mills Metropark has definitely changed, most notably by moving the pits to the back straightaway.

What about support systems like KERS and DRS for F1, push-to-pass\overtake assistance for IndyCar ?

I'm looking for better race engineer voice and maybe some more information from him, not just lap times every time I cross the line :D

i'm really looking forward to the new tire physics, should really show who looks after their tires better during longer races.

First, thanks for taking the time for this, always interesting.

Will there be some sort of system that will make it easier for racers of similar ability to find each other online or is that considered mainly a community responsibility? Now fast drivers are spread out very thinly between a lot of leagues/servers and it's hard to find top level leagues/servers.

That's because racing lines for AI are badly created for that particular track. I can't tell you exactly which one, but I guess that might be inner line or main AI racing line.
When done properly, SC drives as smooth as baby's 3 letters ;)
