Is it common that a rainy racesurface is very flickering from surten angles? Any comments are very welcome, and thanks in advance. Normark
post a video if you could, and include your video card specifications. as well as your cpu & ram. Then, also include which cars & track(s) you are seeing the flickering.
Thanks. Thanks Alex Will the problem occur if the race surface is placed on top of the ground plane (grass) The ground plane is just a simple square, and the racesurface is placed 1 cm above it. Thanks for any advice. Normark
Thanks again Alex When I remove the ground plane under the racesurface the flicker is gone. Thanks for your advice.
You'll have to cut space out for the road, you should be able to use the edges of the road to create an object to cut with.
Thanks Coutie, exactly. Funny enough the bolean operation in Max is still tricky, but I got the trick done, and now it works perfect. A little too much rain, don´t know how to stop the huge amount of rain.
I do tracks more than I drive I see the perfect weather-system, and it gives fine control with rain amount. Normark
I got rid of the flickering and the road behaves perfect now. But how do you get the pitarea to behave correct. It seems the road only dryes where someone is driving, so the pitarea stays flooded. How do you fix this? Thanks for any advice. Normark
is it possible to exclude one surface from reflections to avoid the problem? I have cut out the tracksurface in the ground plane, but I have other tracks with the same problem, and it would be easier to exclude the ground plane if that would work.
