I can't understand why the new Porsche GT3 Cup 992 does not brake properly? When the brake pedal is fully depressed, the wheels don't lock and the car slows down very slowly. The other cars are fine.
iron brakes that need to be in certain temperature window perhaps? GT3 brakes are built by Brembo, the Cup brakes come from PFG. You should expect some difference between the two models, but your experience does sound a bit extreme.
Make sure you put Max Pedal Force, in the setup, on 100% (80kgf). Can definitely lock the wheels up once the brakes are up to temp.
It's a cup car it will take longer to slow down, I'm braking almost 200m out on the main straight at Bahrain and I'm getting plenty of lock ups around the track
The brakes are cold. Is it normal at 240 km/h when the brake pedal is fully depressed, the time to a complete stop is about 5 seconds? P.S I have Anti-lock brakes ... low here
On a hard stop I'm close to 5 secs, I don't have an issue with the brakes, my concerns are more to do with the suspension tbh
