SOLVED onFatalError 22

Hello, i'm trying to make a server on the new BTCC 90's mods but i get the message onFatalError 22 !
The mod i use is this one : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2895993212

Everything is fine when i play single or join a server on the net with these BTCC 90's mods.

It's only on my own dedicated server.
When i connect to it, my server crashes and i get "Connection lost".

I activated traces on server side and i get these lines at the very end :

137.17s main.cpp 343: onFatalError 22
137.37s main.cpp 343: onFatalError 11

How can i find what is wrong ? I used +trace=2 to activate the traces.
Any way of having more traces ?

I tried different tracks and i always get those errors.

Any advices to solve this issue ?

The only thing i noticed in the trace is this line :

Trace 2 is the maximum available.

onFatalError 22 is a new one (for me at least), the 11 is more common, usually means a required file wasn't found.

I would suggest cleaning out the Installed folder for your content and reinstalling it - brands hatch is at least partly installed in this folder which indicates some past issues (note the (6)):
C:\Games\rfactor2-dedicated\Installed\Locations\BrandsHatch_2021\1.00 (6)

 

Thanks, i will try that. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the BTCC 90's content but not the tracks.
It happens on Oulton too.
It lools like something is missing on the dedicated.

 

I just removed 99% of the content on my dedicated server,
and installed Oulton and the 3 BTCC 90s and still the same issue.

Maybe it's an issue on the client side, but i can connect to online servers with almost the same content.

It works totally fine ...

I'm trying to remove all unnecessary content on my game.
I have a lot of (x) folders in my installed vehicules.

 

Now that i have removed a lot of things, i now have a cockpit view wrongly set on the left of the car in the vanwall
I will try using BTCC 90s on Monza to see if it work better. Nice idea.

Edit : Same sort of crash on Monza + BTCC 90s

 

I reinstalled pretty much all of the dedicated server.
I tried the BTCC 90s cars one by one.
They all cause the same crash ...

I tried again to go online on Oulton with the Primera and it worked fine.

The only thing i think is some missing content i don' t have on my server used by the BTCC 90s mods.

I'm screwed, and can't use it on my server.

I also tried to remoe all plugins and stil the same crash onFatalError 22 followed by 11.

 

@DanRZ Do you use the Steam Command Dedicated Server or the Dedicated Server that is integrated and can be found in ..\rFactor 2\Bin64
If you use the Steam Command Server, i would suppose that there is something corrupted or not setup correctly and i would suggest to try the integrated one, just to check if that works.
When you say that it works in Single Player, it should work with the integrated Dedi too then.

UPDATE I have just seen you latest Post: when you check the Server rfmod in your Dedicated Server Install with the Mod Manager, do you get any Problems shown?

 

What server version are you running, 1131? I just tried a new server install via steamCMD and ended up with v1122…dunno if I cocked something up at my end or not, gunna investigate a bit more later(midday nana nap time lol)

EDIT: musta cocked something up before, works properly now.

 

Hello, i'm using steamcmd dedicated standalone server and it is on a distant server.
I've removed most of mods i had and only redownloaded oulton and the 3 BTCC 90s ...

When using the mod from server in single player and quitting the session i had a strange issue with the error saying to close game or go to Main menu.

It was not happening when playing same track/car combo via "All tracks and cars".

I still can't determine which part is wrong : server or client

I can play online with BTCC 90s without any issue so the problem is probably server side.

@Goanna : You need to use "-beta none" in the steam command to always get the last stable version.

 

@DanRZ Would you mind to upload your Server Mod (rfmod) here?

 

Sure i can, here is one having the issue ...

 

I wanted to test it, but nothing works as before here anymore.
I can not use the integrated Dedi anymore and also the Steam Command Dedi doesn't.
But i can join a Server from the Internet List.
I currently don't have the Time and Patience to start Investigations why nothing works as before anymore, so i can not help you much in this Case.
What i can try, is to join your Server, with the C22_Oulton_001 Mod installed, to check if i can do that or if i maybe get some helpful Error Messages.
Is your Server permanently online, i couldn't find it in the Server List (searched for Oulton...)?

 

Don't worry, everything is fine except for the BTCC 90s.

If it works with somebody else, it will still not explain the reason why it happens with me ...

I'm screwed with this content and don't want to do a full and complete reinstall and loose my actual configuration which works perfectly.

Are there some developper from S397 passing here able to explain what meaning has the onFatalError 22 ?

The 11 happened to others but not the 22 ...

Launched a server with his RFMOD and is working. The name is BTCC Testserver

 

I'm gonna try to connect to it in a few minutes ...
