So spent the last few hours helping a league racer who was having CTD for the last few days
    latest Content on server
Everyone saying issues with AMD drivers. so have tried rolling back (same issue)
Reinstalled (RF2) still having CTD issues
Reinstalled Windows then Fresh install of RF2, load a Croft onto server no issue at runs strong for an hour plus. think we fixed it
Reload Thruxton on server he gets out of pits then CTD. Try single player and again CTD

Reload Silverstone on server again no issues ran solid for over an hour
    Reload Thruxton BAM CTD.

So issue is Thruxton have tried with different cars mods and Official content and only Thruxton CTD

Just so we know everyone is on the same page: you rolled back to 22.5.1 drivers?

Also choose NONE in the beta tab and Verify in the local files tab, both under the rfactor 2 properties. 22.5.1, as @Lazza stated. These were the last files where everything worked.(btw, did Thruxton offline for an hour or so the other night testing the 2022 BTCC skins. no ctd or lockups.)

You just repeated what you already said. I'm asking if you rolled back to the 22.5.1 drivers specifically. Not 22.5.10, not 22.5.6, but 22.5.1. Just to make sure.

    Hi.
I fired up rf2 today for the 1st time since last weekend.
Launched a practice session at Thruxton and rF2 crashed after 100% loading.
Nvidia user here, never had problems with the track before, it was actually the track I used last week.
Afterwards I spent a couple hours driving Croft and Donni so lost the trace. Longtime rF2 user and rarely have crash problems, kind of makes me think there's a track issue.

    Regards.

If you get a CTD, upload the rfmini.dmp file from rfactor2/userdata. Without it, we don't know why your game is crashing.

Here are my 2 cents for analysing..
First scenario: Track Thruxton with BTCC - CTD after loading track 100% (dump file + trace1)
2nd scenario: Track Bahrain with GTE cars - screen freeze after driving 1/4lap. Game seems to continiue in the background (trace2)

Driver 22.11.1 - i renamed the user folder today and did steam file verification to set up all new from scratch

    Hi all.
My setup is Rx 6800 XT GPU - Catalyst 22.10.3
    And this was my sequence:

1- First try of Bahrain circuit entering a LFM practice server with Oreca. Game freezes the screen and then crashes some seconds after entering.
2- Offline mode crashes again same mods.
3- Deleted cbash and shaders folder.
4- Going offline to Bahrain Three laps in offline mode with no crashes at Bahrain + Oreca.
5- Again entered to LFM server Bahrain + Oreca and crashes again!

Any ingame graphics settings were modified

    Find attached my rFMini.dmp file.

    Thanks in advance.

Those files are important, it will possibly help S397 identify the problem. But for both of you...

The LAST fully functioning driver in regards to rF2 from AMD is 22.5.1.
Tell your friends, Further drivers 'MAY' load and begin to work, but they all, apparently, have been prone to crashing. So IF YOU WANT TROUBLE FREE operation of rF2, the best solution at this time is using AMD driver version number 22.5.1.

Meanwhile S397 replyed to my mail.
They said there is nothing they can do because of the handling how AMD use Windows standard API's. So only thing is rollback to old driver and hope that AMD fix that in the future.

I tested a bit around with some earlier driver versions between 22.11.1 and 22.5.1 because they worked so far without the new content. But with all the Q4 drop it’s a must to use 22.5.1
Interesting to see that 22.5.1 is still the official recommended driver from AMD. All higher versions are optional. Didn’t noticed that til yesterday and think they rolled back due to the problems.
