@Alex Sawczuk I guess it was the latest Update that brought this Problem. When i create a complete new AIW File (start with an empty one), i can drive the main Path and save the Waypoints. But when i have driven the Pit Path and click "mark as 1st Pit", the ModDev crashes to the Desktop immediately. To ensure that this is not caused by the Track, for that the AIW is, i did let Steam install a complete fresh ModDev Folder and tried it with the Joesville Track. I'm on the "None" Build and it was working fine a few Days ago.
@Alex Sawczuk Can it be, that the ModDev is a bit more corrupted after the last Game Update? On the Track, for that i want to create a new AIW, i did make one already some Days ago, where everything seemed to work properly. When i load that AIW now, the Cars in the Garages changed their Orientation/Direction by 180°. And they seem to need more Space between the PitSpots now, to avoid them to crash into a Car that is standing in the Pit in front of them, when they leave their Pit.
The dmp file did not load for me. I'm not really sure what is going on there for you right now. We developed aiw with out issue on the latest code during this build cycle. There is an issue with AI pitting in overshooting there box that we are looking at right now though.
That doesn't sound good. So i have to Stop with AIW Editing after 17 Years? I will try it with the RC later, hopefully that works.
RC is the same as opt out right now. You can use previous-release as a temporary measure. I'll try to reproduce your issues when i have time.
I also have the same problem. I created an AIW before the update and it worked. Today, after this thread, I tried it. Main line OK. After driving the Pit-Line the DevMode crashed immediately.
@Alex Sawczuk Just an off Topic Question: which Programm do you use to open the rfmini.dmp Files? I tried to open mine with the Windows "Windbg Preview" and that seems to open it. At least i get no Error Message.
If you don't mind me answering, I would say alex will try to run it in a debug session, allowing more information on where the code was and what it was doing. Windbg will give some info but nothing specific like that.
@Alex Sawczuk Just a little Addition: the ModDev also crashes, when i have a Track that already has a Pit Path and i want to add a Pit Extension Path and click "add new path and mark as Extension for 1st pitlane", when it was driven.
