I noticed this at an LMP2 race. As i spun, an other cars was driving "through" my Ligier. So it looks that some parts of the body (side, back) are not "solid" @Coutie
If you were online, it could be the new anti-lag feature that turns off collisions for up to 5 seconds when the sim detects lag.
no, i had this also on the track and its only an issue with the Ligier LMP2. Here i "catched" one on the track
It appears only other Ligiers are poking thru, since NOBODY races more than one of these at a time, it's not a priority issue...
@Manfredk2 Can you upload your player file? Even if it was missing a collision model, the game would generate one on its own.
If it only happens with the Ligier, like @Manfredk2 has said and if the auto-Generation of a Collision Model, if a Car has no Collision Mesh, works properly, i would suppose that it is an improper made Collision Mesh or a missing Colltarget=True Tag in the Gen File.
I don't see any major differences between yours and mine. I tested it and I was able to hit other Ligiers, so I don't know what the issue could be.
Have you tried to hit it in the middle left/right. Front and back seem to be solid. Best to try it in the pits so they could not escape
I just tested by letting the AI run a race. At lap one, a car spun and was hit broadside, allowing the 2nd car to penetrate the sidewall. By the time the smoke cleared 4 cars were stuck inside each other and spinning their tires trying to dislodge themselves.
It's all I could do, my wheel is already packed away. I just let the AI run and HOPED something would happen. It is kinda like the Callaway Corvette. If you touched the rear wing to a tire stack, even the slightest graze, it would stick to the tires like the rear wing was melted to the rubber.
Are all Vertices of the Collision Mesh welded and is it completely closed? (Sorry that i ask, but because we can not check it.... )
