Did anyone ever had the idea to build some sort of monster trucks with a gravel zone, jumps and a crush zone? It's just a crazy idea I have been thinking about for over one year. FFB will be set off for this I guess
What about the stadium super trucks like in Automobilista? Bulding tracks would be not a big problem and this things are quite fun
The rF1 mods were great. I really miss the April Fools mods that ISI did. They had the quads and an offroad track released a while ago.
I don't generally advertise our content to the wider world because we are a closed community and our mods are not available to the public but mods like you speak of are possible in rf2 as is dirt content etc the problem is people just haven't spent enough time trying to work it out. We have been using dirt based mods full time in rf2 for the greater part of 3 years now so we know its possible, here are two clips against the AI of our offroad trucks - the AI is pretty rubbish but online against other players they are a world of fun.
There is this, I haven't test it so https://forum.studio-397.com/index....-i-challenge-someone-to-build-a-course.61430/
i found this long time ago but everything is down now: ShortTrackSims.com rFactor 2 Monster Trucks fun CobWeb Speedway Brian Perry 12th june 2017
Imagine this with hot rod chassis, welded pipes and open engine pieces. Madness Big backfires. For a scene you can basically add low poly cars that have all pieces aside of chassis as full <Debris> at their GEN files. I'm just not sure that it's possible to fake the game when the start of race should place those dummies at the 'smash zone' or how they call it Maybe if it's not a Race but a practice session where the pit places actually are the dummies in this case. If the Truck has no debris you can trash the place down while the pieces of the dummies fly all over the place. On the other hand there are options on the car you make how it interacts with 'cones' or new physics you add to 'new' objects. My point is, that I do believe there is a way to make new objects that are interactive when crashing into it. A combination of 3/4 dirt race and a smash zone would be fun and spectacular, especially in RF2. Maybe the interest is small at this moment, but that might change very fast when it's good enough. For the release video you can even add the RF2 safetycar in there
