Who is the owner of this mod? I´m not new here but didn´t get the answer on the oficial thread which was closed "the original “third party” is free to update it to current standards (or not)." Who/what/where is "the original third party"?
lol, nevermind. I think the answer is here: https://forum.studio-397.com/index....ocus-on-performance-please.59031/#post-932102
Bonjour, Bill Guillaume and I did the mod. We had help from Michael Borda for the physics and tires. I'm adjusting the textures to DX11, added a 4 speed transmission and we will see if we can get the mod to be easier to drive fast. Cheers ! Gilles
Great news Gilles, I found yours mod ffb one of the best here. I really like wheel getting light when loosing grip. A lot of ffb mods don´t give this info well. I think most of people just prefer a strong ffb. On that subject, my advice is not listen to crowd I wasn´t the crazy flickering at left side i would drive more in the way the mod is now. Thanks for your work and others involved Cheers
Bonjour, Louis, I mailed you about the flickering. Mauro, I have a running rF2 Mont-Tremblant but finishing it will take months. If someone really good at texturing and materials would help....Same situation for rF2 Trois-Rivieres. Cheers !
Merci beaucoup for your rF2 dedication, Gilles. Those tracks are classics...as well the cars. Wish I could help but I'm not graphically inclined :-(
Trois-Rivières would be a brilliant addition to rFactor 2. A shame that no one seemed to have picked up your request for assistance as it's an iconic track...
Track is great but the background mountains appear suddenly - worked before a few updates of RF2 - I know because it was a paid track once and I supported - it`s free by now and maybe someone can fix the background.
About that, modder gived permission for improvements and update of the track "I doubt that I will be updating this track any further in the future but if anyone would like to make any improvements themselves then that's absolutely fine and should you need any of the original files just get in touch!" https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/trembling-mountain.64651/#post-1033693
Some time ago i´ve tried to do some AIW improvements on some layouts of Trembling Mountain and changed also the clipplanes for these layouts. So the mountains should no more pop in. Look here for the update-patch: https://mega.nz/folder/CIIlGQ5C#jmMrO8sfvanSx4D6X8PaLg
