These are great in AMS1. All Q3 content has been a pleasant surprise.

the lack of good tracks is the main disappointment for the Q3 release.
I prefer having only tracks without any car.
The Q2 was awesome, now my hype is over for this year, I wait for the next year and the AI and shadow fix.

well if they put Oulton Parck that appears in the video, plus the Minis, the Caterham, for me it is not a disappointment, if a pleasant surprise

Where do you see Oulton Park in the Video? I have watched the video but I don't see anything that I can definitively say is Oulton Park.

I don't think they can simply ''fix" the clutch - it's not the clutch that's the problem, it works fine, it's the fact that they would have to actually model a transmission and simulate how syncromesh works and how gears at different speed wont mesh but gears at the same speed will mesh etc etc etc etc. Huge amount of variables if it were to be done properly. We can only hope!!!

Also, when I'm feeling lazy in real life, I don't even use my clutch. So the fact that you don't really need to use the clutch in rF2 dosn't bother me too much becuase I know that in real life if you get it right you can get away without using it. That said, I really want the simulated transmission for rF2 if nothing else just to have to use a bit of mechanical sympathy when driving.

Fun cars but after 2 weeks no one will use them anymore. Give me more tracks to drive my Porsche GTE( best sim racing car ever).

The Gateway Road layout looks like a good track for both the Mini and Caterham.

Lets bet that Mini and Caterham both will outlive Porsche GTE in terms of interest. Some facts, both Mini and Caterham are practically 50s cars, Mini is just there at the sixties, and Caterham is 50s Lotus that really hasn't changed very much. They are still very popular cars today. Porsche GTE is very recent car, it is popular due to being new and modern, interest in it will very likely fade out, decrease significantly in less than five years.

I made a poll long time ago to find out how desirable cars of certain years are. Newest are indeed the most desirable, but surprisingly 90s cars are in second place, and 2000s cars are in third. This means new cars are definitely an attraction, but interest in them depreciates faster than older cars. It is a possibility that cars of 2010-2020 will hold less interest than cars of 90s too in a decade or so.

    According to this: https://strawpoll.com/polls/XOgOJaPz0n3/results
Racecars from 2000-2010 holds just a little more interest than racecars from 60s till 90s, which all shares very similar interest. And arguably the older the car is the less relevant today, thus it is more impressive for it to hold interest. This is also why authentic 50s and 60s racecars are most expensive in auctions, and some manufacturers opens "continuation" projects, or even doesn't ever completely shut the production down.

In case rF2 CS struggles to maintain grids populated for longer time it could be due to it being unfinished.

I also decided to add. Guys who loves oldschool and classic cars also will tend to be more enthusiastic with longer lasting attention, interest. They will keep on coming back to these cars for way longer if they will find them awesome.

I highly disagree with this, we need variety in rF2, those cars have probably more interest from the "old school" user base (majority probably), than the new stuff. I respect your love with the Porsche, but you have plenty of offer in that class and also a good amount and variety of tracks (official and modded).

    This!
