Will there be any small prizes for Formula Challenge like we had last year in GT Challenge where the Pro series deducted prizes via penalties pooled to Challenge?

20 min for a quali session with only 6 laps (3 hot laps?) allowed is a bit of a waste of time. Could be shortened to 10-12 min. With 20 min you will have no one doing laps for about 10 min.

  6. That is not the plan no

  7. Best track in terms of how drivers can't give themselves too much of an advantage ;)

  8. 10-12 is not enough time for the top split that wont be allowed to use escape on track. It might be for lower splits that is not on stream and not required to go back into the pits.

Why is it then not just 15 mins like Formula Pro was - we can do that, I honestly don't mind. But may i remind you that there is no warmup session, its straight to formation lap after those 15 mins. One can argue that you have 10 mins of practice in CS before the actual qual and can get a glass of water, coffee, Red Bull, Monster or whatever you need during a race.

Was the 20 mins that bad last season? if so we can go to 15 mins, again i am not to bothered.

How is the weather decided? Are you gonna post it on race day (like in GT Pro) or are we going via live weather apps?

  10. Unfortuantly I can't use live weather on the CS servers, i wish i could, but since I can't it will be similar to the other seasons (also GT) where I first thing monday morning check weather forecast and then post the actual weather. Its the best way if we want to somehow want to have it as "live" as we can.

    Thanks for the answer.

From my perspective, 20 min is just a lot of dead time. I'd like to just get it going and not have too much time where you just sit and wait.
15 min session would be a nice compromise for me at least. It will still give you time to go back to pits and check certain things. A 20 min session isn't the end of the world, but I reckon it wouldn't be too fun on a broadcast either when there's not much action on track.

Does the Q session automatically move, or will you be allowed to start a lap right before the session timer ends and finish it?

  12. If you started the lap before the session ends, it will continue to run. But i need to put in a disclaimer there is a certain limit. But a normal lap can be done.

  16. On Discord i see its now working for you.

Sign up for the CS and do laps offline, this is a simple update to the car simply with less power.

A bit soon to ask, but are we going to have a custom number like in FPro or are we assigned numbers like in GT Pro/Challenge?

  18. Very early to ask yes, since it wont be anytime soon, so i can only answer with how it is like now. Now drivers pick their own number, that number will stay with them for as long as they are in. If they drops - same does their reservation of a number.
