    Dont know if it okay, I but think it really needed, a brighter asphalt, and toned down stripes. So messed around with it tonight and created a "upgrade" package with new road shader, and desaturated stripes. But the uvmap of the roads aren't great, think the road needs to be combined to one big mesh. So dont expect this result to be optimal.

    The asphalt flickers a little bit, Im trying to figure out why, but go ahead an try it. you can uninstall/delete the 0.10.0 folder if you dont want it afterwards.

    In replay mode, when I press "U" (assigned to free cam), the background mountains, either disappear or become dim... :-D
    I have no freaking idea why, but it's worthwhile mentioning (does free cam mess with the LOD?)
    Side note: personally I would prefer the asphalt just a smidge darker. But it's a brilliant track to emulate the Michelin Cup race of the ELMS event of a few days ago: LMP3 + GT3

    is there a better AIW for this track somewhere?
    The AI are slower than average, and they dont defend much, it has some "easy" overtake sections.

    Indeed, I usually don't have too much trouble being competitive on this track, which is a definitely bad sign :-D

    Hahaha, I´ll try, though I´m not being able to use replays to record paths anymore.

    @atomed anything we can do, to help with this?

    Initial problems
    • AI dont defend in turn 7, 10, 11
    • They are slow and break early into turn 10 & 11
    Tested yesterday with 992 cup, but its same with lmp2. Dont know if they use same path.

    Sure, let me have a look at it this weekend.

    Edit: There is no block line so they don´t defend anywhere, I´ll do that. The slow sections I´ll try to improve them as well, it shouldn´t matter the car, the AI path in a fast turn is very similar for all classes.

    Tried it tonight, I dont think I can feel the difference, but also bumped up the AI to be on same speed as me. Though they were very competitive and harder to overtake and not too slow in corners, I dont think they directly blocked me.
    I added it to a main mas file and upgraded it as a rfcmp file, is that correct? also copied to the 2 other layouts since they are the same.

    If they don´t change their path to block you they´re not using block path.

    @ThomasJohansen If you could provide a replay with a fast and clean lap, we could try to record a new fastest line.

    @atomed I found out I had packed them in the wrong mas file paul_ricard_MAIN.mas so repacked it in paul_richard_GP.mas and created my upgrade rfcmp file.
    But couldnt still see a difference. I will retry in the weekend. And I can try to make a replay file too for @Manfredk2. I'll give a heads up when I have tested it some more and created a useful replay file.

    I have an updated AIW for the GT layout (full Mulsanne Straight no chicaine) which stops the AI crashing at the end of the Mulsanne Straight. They would go wide on exit of the right hander and hit an invisible object, making them lose control and pile up (GT3 cars). My AIW takes a tighter line but they can still maintain good speed. It also has a left and right path added and teleport waypoint added for fast rolling starts. You're welcome to use it as a base if you want to add a block line to it. The first chicane could also use some tweaking as the AI are too slow through there.

    does it matter if there are both good and bad laps in the replay?
