Possible Bug on setup page. Front ARB shows different values inconsistently
Car is amazing, you need to work on setups but feeling is wonderful. Best content today withoud doubt.

nice, the 75% halo transparency is a very good feature, maybe it's time to copy it for the formula pro (only 10%).
And I don't know if it's the new tyres, or if this car suits more to my driving style, but for now, I prefer Indycar to Formula pro.

edit : it's the new tyres, the Formula pro FFB feels now not much detailed.

    Hi
Well said. I love the Indy Car. especially the almost transparent halo.
I relay could not use the formula pro due to the halo until this last weekend when a kind forum member supplied me with a fix that removed it completely.
Hopefully we will be given the option to remove them in both the Formula pro and the Indy Car.
    Best wishes
    Bob

I don't get much of any understeer feeling with this car even though I'm clearly understeering?? Also around centre is pretty empty!
I read this is using a new tyre, is this a trait of the new tyre or something that is needing to improve?

What wheel are you using? I am not having this same problem. Do remember that car specific multiplier needs to be below 80 to not get clipping

Just a CSWv2, csm was 85, I raised the minimum to 2 and smoothing 0. It didn't have that numb clipping feeling but I will lower to 75 and try again.

The new indy content is awesome! So much fun to drive and looks incredible. My one complaint is the drivers helmet keeps disappearing and reappearing constantly due to draw distance. Is this necessary? Anyone else noticed this?

Is it normal that both Indycars in rF2 has quite weak FFB compared to other open-wheelers? I know I can adjust it, but it's strange. Do they have power steering?

I know the old ones didn't. Mind they're setup for 16Nm which isn't to be sneezed at, but unless you have a 20Nm wheel scaled properly it will feel weaker than other cars.

Have you tried on an oval? It may simply be they're scaled to those higher forces and circuits are relatively light.

Anyway, best is to check clipping while adjusting the FFB Mult.

I love this car, I want to drive it in all tracks. I am slowish with it, can't wait to discover even more of its handling as I'll get faster and get more savvy with setup.

P.S. I don't know about others, but I find myself very very often using reset FFB function in game now, way more often than I used to.

Probably. They run about 1CM Scrub Radius, pretty tight but necessary for ovals.

The roll bar adjustment goes down in number then up? It's not how I understand adjustments to work! Am I missing something here?

The default setup is very "safe" and understeery.

Thanks mate, I lowered csm to 80 and it feels better. Just didn't go low enough before.

I have a T500RS. Not a DD, but can be quite strong if it wants to be. I'll try some ovals, thanks. How can I check FFB clipping?

Personally I use Damplugin and motec, but simhub has an FFB display as well.

I too have a T500, it probably peaks at 4.5Nm. So whatever you do you're only ever driving a poor imitation of the real thing. Unlike many cars 100% FFB mult is a decent starting point on circuits with the DW12, with the default setup. If the track has no fast corners it would probably be worth raising it higher. The IR-18 is probably similar.

But yeah, to maximise the forces without overdoing the clipping it's best to check it occasionally. I like the telemetry option because you can check exactly where it's happening.

With my Simucube I had to bring it down quite a bit to around 30%, so around what the FPro is using.

Love the way it loads up on the steering.
