Hey Mastas Rastas! Thank you for your contribution to RF2. On your youtube channel (RSR MODS iirc) there are many interesting cars, not just hillclimb. Like RUF and LaFerrari iirc. When can we expect them?

Im no drift pro myself... however, Currently Im having a blast with this thing at Autopolis. Misano is another decent drift circuit, Mores is a great little drifter, Tsukuba is a personal favourite. Laguna Seca is pretty tough to drift but extremely fun once you get it, especially 360 spins through the Corkscrew. Singapore street circuit is pretty fun too. Pretty much, anywhere short and tight, that isnt a karting track. Also, in my experience with this mod, I have a better time with the green "Kennet" car vs the Chucky and NFS versions. Cheers rocket
Nothin special, first decent drift lap at AP. Forgot to mention that I set the wheel to 540 to get 1:1, helps a lot vs 900, and ffb to .80 Also, heres my setup for the Kennet car, slightly different from default but makes a big difference for me. Cheers
Another one for Laguna Not perfect, but gives an idea of what is possible. At the end I do the 360 the way I used to with the 240sx(anti-clockwise), a bit harder to make it clean in the Supra...
the top gear track is so much fun,but I'm having to use the testing version because without the cones,I can't tell where I have to go,the lines defining the track limits are so faint or non existent. Anyone else find this
Curious question, whats under the hood? Sounds a bit like a Hellcat to me. Luv me sum MOPAR. Cheers guys. rocket
Hi Rastas, I will get to the huge THANK YOU at the end of this reply... So I've been driving your mod for the last three days, but unfortunately it contains an old reference to Indianapolis. the old reference causes an error during game launch, (when rF2 tries to download/remove newly subsribed or unsubsribed content in the new UI system.) after the error rF2 won't try to subsribe to other newly added content. So currently I had to unsubscribe just in order to add some other mods to rF2. It'll be great if that's something that you care to fix one day. Here's an excerpt from the trace file: 26.85s JNIModMgr.cp 1398: Error trying to install SRC_Indy500: missing virtual cmp ISI_Indianapolis_2013 v1.70; missing virtual cmp SRC_Indy500 v17.0330; , File: E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\365960\1113771653\trackname.rfcmp (I followed this manual to find the culprit, and unsubscribing to this mod on steam solved the problem for me) ...And now to my huge THANK YOU... It was a few days ago when I thought to myself: 'Force feedback is so great in rF2, I feel like drifting should work well'. Oh boy! It works wonderfuly! It's truely hard to believe that everyone is drifting in AC, when drifting in rF2 is sooo much better! there's such great control of the car, the steering wheel goes exactly to where I would've expected it to go IRL. (I don't have RL experience with drifting) It's easy to drift both a tight corner OR a very fast turn at top gear! This is so much better than AC, where you're doing so much guesswork; cars that drift nicely in moderate speeds are hard to control in fast corners. But here I didn't even bother so far with special drift courses. every road course works great. Thank you for bringing this from rF1, or I might've never known!
Hi Bumpety Boo, The Link to the manual is broken. Do you remember what the culprit is as i have exactly that fault as well. Word for Word. Thanks PS> Or even a new link to that fault finding manual would be great.
Hi, This will be the one: https://forum.studio-397.com/index....irtual-cmp-isi_indianapolis_2013-v1-70.68244/
Thank you !! It turned out to be This MOD that i had to delete. Unsubscribing didnt help. I had to delete the Folder in the Content Folder manually. "Supra Drift"
