Yes, you heard that right - thanks to our friends at KartSim and Tillotson, we have an incredible opportunity to present to the rFactor 2 community. Starting on Saturday 11th September, rFactor 2 drivers will have the opportunity to take part in a new, short, sharp esport racing competition using the very latest Tillotson T4 Series kart - with a chance to win some exceptional prizes, and potentially a seat on a World finals racing grid - in real life karting!

    The Series
Held over three days of racing, the Tillotson T4 Esports Series will place drivers right at the very heart of what it means to race competitive karts. Utilizing the newly released Tillotson T4 Series kart in rFactor 2, drivers will have an opportunity to participate in up to four qualification sessions on the day of each race event, with the top 24 drivers progressing to 'Split 1' of the Semi-Final races. Points will be awarded for each race (Saturday and Monday), with the highest scoring 30 drivers progressing to Finals Day on Tuesday evening. Points scored across the two semi-final events will be used to set the grid positions on Finals Day.

    - Can you specify the kart license part?
What exact documents do you require in order to participate in the world finals driving seat prize?
What category license? When exactly does it have to be active?

    - What is the points system like?
    Edit: answered in 1st post

    - What are the server settings in the competition system for qualifying and also the races? Realroad, time of day etc.

    - Are the setups open or fixed?

    - Any room for negotiating the races to be even a tiny bit earlier? With current format you are ruling out some of the best simracers competing in Formula Pro on the same day.

License part not sure what is required, will get an answer for you.
Timing will conflict, but its a set schedule - so that won't work for you unfortuantly.

Any reasoning behind the schedule or why it's so strict, who set it? Is it set on purpose to exclude Formula Pro drivers?

  5. It is just set like this, i doubt it is to exclude anyone.

Answer from Kartsim: they need a national level license that allows them to take part in international competition. the requirements are different for each country however i do not think a temporary license will allow for this
