    Hello sports fans!
Today a little premiere! My first Let's Play in AR with AMS2.
And that's not a second too late!
Yesterday's big update from Reiza is really tough!
Physic and FFB have taken a very big step forward! The AI now drives the battle line and also fights colossally among each other!
    Dat makes people happy!
    Just take a look!

    Have fun!

Exactly. I play F1 2019 occasionally. It's no sim but it's a good game. PC2 and AMS2 have given me some marvellous moments like driving the 917 down the Mulsanne in torrential rain. All sorts of faults with them but some things they do much better than "better" sims.

So how are you guys still finding AMS2? It's on sale right now and am thinking of picking it up. I really like AMS1 so is 2 that much better?

So,if you want to be a part of this project ,wich is far from being perfect do it. A lot of fun to drive the old cars(Gr.5,Gr.C,GT1,Porsche 1974)
The FFB is perfect, the GFX too.The physics are plausible (and still being worked on) and a intuitive user interface.
Have in mind,it's a long time project and it is getting better with every update.I like to see things grow.
I have the season pass as i trust in Reiza!

everyone has their opinion, which is very respectable, but it is clear that we do not think the same, ... after each one draws their conclusions, in my case it was to have thrown the money

I tried it few months ago
Felt as if the cars were rotating on a turn table
Not much depth to the physics
    So I got a refund

rieza are a great software house though so I’ll keep my eye on it in case of good updates in the future

I could not get a refund thinking that they would improve, but nothing at all, very nice and little else, ... more of the same .... I spent the time of refund in hopes.
rfactor has bugs that should be fixed, it is half abandoned with new things, but there are many things and old bugs forgotten ...
    a shame...

Reiza are perhaps wrestling with a new software engine & finding it difficult to produce what they wish for, maybe it’s just not capable, will be interesting in the future if they turn it around or divert to a new engine with a new sim

imo rf2 even with its imperfections is the best bet of all sims

    That was long time fixed.
Belive me,there are a lot discussions in the beta forum with "professinal" car and sim racers with knowledge, who will complain and get to the bottom of the matter.

I am a bit torn apart abour AMS2. For some wierd reason I have raced it more than AMS1 according to Steam, but from my perspective AMS1 is still the better more fleshed out product right now. Alot of the time spent on AMS2 was with the Group C cars at historic Spa ( wich is a great combination) and alot of the rest of the time was spent just trying out different cars to check if they are hit and miss and tweaking the crap out of the FFB. Don't get me wrong it's a nice racing sim and if they keep polishing it it can be up there with it's prequel incase they add all the missing features. Their content selection is actually quite nice, specialy with their trackpacks with different historic track versions. That said, the handling of the cars and the FFB is clearly not on the same level as rF2 and it is very gamey in some areas. It inherited alot of the stuff that kept me away from enjoying from PC2 like the AI, pit limiters on all cars, wierd handling, wierd FFB. Idk, it just doesn't click. Last time I tried the new Porsche, drove a lap around historic Spielberg and quit after that lap. For some wierd reason it doesn't have the same sensation as the first title.

For those who still in doubt!
    From Renato Simioni:
We have full access to the Madness source code and we´re free to change it as we please, which is indeed a pretty remarkable move from SMS - I think they deserve more credit than they get (specially from those are already able to enjoy AMS2).

The code, assuming that they can modify it, would no longer be as beautiful if they need to modify to be able to make decent physics, in any case the economy is more interesting than the quality of their product, it will never be up to the AMS1
