This car needs an update plz! Almost a year since it was released as DLC now and outstanding issues are still not sorted @s397.

Definately this car needs new sound, fixing bugs (if any), improvements to physics (if any). It is a very good car to drive and i hope it gets attention.
one thing i'm curious is about is ride height of this car, why is it so high ? is this because of rules ? or does lowering ride height futher starts giving suspension geomentry and roll center issue etc ?

Maybe M2 has not completely fixed the collision yet.
    Mainly front section.

It would be nice to see an update on this car. It is the perfect entry to gt cars.
But the gear ratios make it almost useless.
    It needs an update.
When released, it was claimed that the car was validated by actual drivers. How could they have missed something like this? That's very strange...

Are you talking about the overdrive 7th gear?

With these gear ratios, I think that overdrive would be an apropriate name to the 6th gear. The 7th gear, I would call it useless.

Yeah, they're both overdrive really. From searching for the gear ratios it appears the DCT 7 speed has nearly exactly the same ratio for 6th as the 6-speed box, so 7th gear is further overdrive. So that's how it is on the production car.

So... it's correct if I'm reading it correctly. Would you prefer something that isn't correct?

Looks like the real car is actually like this too. My bad.

Looks like the crappy job was made by BMW and not S397 .

    Lesson learned, google first

the audio sample itself is changed, this difference i'm talking about. now it sounds like a M2 with M4 growly engine.

Check the date of the newest .mas file of the car and you'll see if something has changed.
    ..\rFactor 2\Installed\Vehicles\The car\The biggest version number\*.mas

Has anything been done on ffb? I have the impression that the rattling is a bit better. But it's been a while since I drove this car. Or is it just a case of cognitive dissonance?
If you did, could you please do a little more in that direction? If you didn't, could you please do a little more in that direction?;)
    thx

It's the same for me. FFB smoothing is the only way to get somewhat rid of that.

you guys can disable ABS , but that will require some tinkering with upgrade.ini files
disabling ABS gets rid of it iirc, also imo makes car more fun.

Thanks for your answer, but I have no clue, where to find this upgrade.ini.
