As opposing to other thread, I thought it would be fair to show "easy" side of observable cars handling. We can only make good judgement when knowing both extremes of driving - bad outcome and great outcome. I called this thread "realistically" instead of "unrealistically", and "correct" instead of "incorrect" because naturally examples of cars handling and being handled well will always be more favorable and more believable to most of the current gen mentality simracers, assuming that each of us should be capable driving like a pro even at most edgy handling situations. The truth is that "easy" means not much, it is depending greatly on skills, knowledge, experience, anticipation, reaction times, performance of the software and hardware, driver effort (should be observable), and even motivation and enthusiasm and other things that will no doubt have an effect on concentration. However, there are many videos to prove how well it is possible to handle various cars, whats the effort like and what is skill and concentration required, thats the question.

Lets focus on cars being driven on/over the limit, please.

    Few examples:

I think that looks pretty easy, there are few slightly bigger twitches, still looks very realistic. Should you make it while sipping tea at the same time ? Those twitches must not be too much of a challenge, right ? After all there are several very smooth powerslides.

Nevermind rather active driver steering effort, it is not looking so difficult, quite progressive and smooth.

And the continuation of yellowbird. Also looks pretty progressive and controlable. Of course it is the top quality driver and very skilled with a car, but it looks easy so it must be easy for everyone ?

That looks easy to me when I watch it relaxed through computer screen. Of course it is oversteering in almost every turn mid turn phase with some lift off over-steer/neutral-steer. But it is expensive car for gentleman racers, it must not be any challenge haha

Not skittish at all, drift physics bit lacking and bit on the edge all the time, but could you tell thats it is difficult at all ?

Slight unrealistic oversteer moment just like in video of road version above. Didn't spin out, so it means it is easy.

Easy. It has good grip, when it has no grip at all. Drift physics are excelent.

The spin out was incredibly sudden which doesn't fit to the topic. However, the save was (looked) incredibly easy, this is how RL physics should always work.

Realistically forgiving Formulas, or unrealistically unpunishable drivers ?

@Korva7 I knew NFS: Porsche Unleashed was the best simulator ever!

And he didn't even need to use any throttle to set back the load to rear, it was pure steering save.

Meanwhile, I just can't manage to find this video of guy drifting without ever touching steering wheel. It has to be somewhere.

    Alright that was epic !

I love how easily the driver dealt with that. Could have saved this one handed while texting back to some chick on tinder. :D

    This is similar:

    @0:57

Also super chill, look how chill these steering movements are, no rush. :D

This is just so easy, it must be easy, these guys aren't F1 drivers, so no way they have god-like skills or anything, it must be sooooooooooooooo easy to drive, imagine this requiring effort, yeah right, for whole lap ? LOL

    Absolutely brilliant. It is dancing.

I watch Best Motoring often to see interesting cars being REALLY driven.

You say that, but I'm seeing apexes in all the wrong places. I'd like to check offboard shots for track cuts, too.

From difficult to easy just by adjusting my rear tire pressure by 1 psi total (38.5 psi --> 38.0 psi --> 37.5 psi). Tires are DOT 200 treadwear Yokohama A052 in 265/35-18. Car is fwd 2018 Ford Focus ST with stiff suspension.
