I'm trying to stay positive and most importantly not use the F word. But where are the cars and tracks. And why the hell does it lock up my computer when I try to exit???? I had to sign out to get the credits to stop!! Is there fix or is the old UI still available?
right below the credits is an exit button, you can click it any time the credits are rolling. Cars and tracks are located by choosing ALL TRACKS & CARS as the series option. Located on the RACE tab and usually at the top of the text. To change cars and/or tracks, click on the TEXT of the car or track name. The old UI is still available but all work on that stopped in January. There will be no further support for the old UI which means some, if not most, new content could contain code that will not work with the old UI.
If I can assume you mean the video config tool where you select the resolution, go to your steam library and click PLAY in the rF2 section (I type PLAY because that's how it looks; I'm not making it capitals so it stands out here). Your other 'feedback' has already happened and been explained in multiple threads since the start of 2020 when this new UI was in beta, and especially over the last 5 months since it became standard. If you show a little more effort in trying to find your way around it before jumping on here and throwing a hissyfit, you'll probably get answers to specific questions...
Well! Putting the exit button right behind the wheel base is not very well thought out. Especially when you're not expecting to need to push another button to exit some more! And I don't understand the point of hiding the cars and tracks? Its mostly a big empty screen. This is the sole reason I haven't used or bought any DLC from rF2 for months! Even when I get into the car or track list I still can't see anything! I don't understand the point of it! I still can't figure out how to turn on triple screens! Are they using a different term for triple screens?
Something wrong in your side You're te first that can't launch the config tool, starting rF2 from Steam Library
Hi. Thanks for this. The last time I used rF2 it was the old UI, but having followed your instructions I find myself going round in small circles as when I select All Cars And Tracks, a page appears to be loading, but it takes me to a bigger graphic with A C & T field, which, when selected takes me back to the first page I selected from.

You will be able to select different layouts for displaying cars and tracks. This messed me up for a while but now it all makes sense! Hope this helps some. Cheers, Bob
Every time I tell someone about that list layout, they are so happy and asking why that isn't the default. It's just weird why they like horizontal scrolling so much in the new UI.
I clicked on the list when it first came out and then basically forgot it. I 'thought' the list view was the default view...
Thanks guys!! Sorry for being a grumpy old man!! As much as I bellyache about AC I was thinking they were going to do something more on the lines of Content Manager? But this reminds more of Raceroom's clunky UI!
When you selected "all tracks and cars" that's the series, so at the 2 second mark of your video under where it says All tracks and cars on the RHS there is Spark and Nurby... hover your mouse over each and they will be highlighted, click Spark and it will take to to the "cars" screen where they will all be.... same same for track. Couple of pics;
Thanks! I'll give that a try! They should just make the cars or tracks come up when you click on 'all cars or all tracks' would make more sense to..... I'm thinking, anyone trying to find this the first time?
