Setting for gtx1050ti(4gb)

Hi guys

I am very new to rFactor2. I have just been getting used to the UI and done a lot of practice with driving and have improved a lot.

I now have a question with regards to my budget setup and if anyone has similar. I basically want to know what settings work best.

My PC has the following:

Processor: AMD ryzen 5 1600
Graphics card: 1050TI (4gb oc edition)
Motherboard: B350 tomahawk
Ram: 32gb
Monitor: 60hz (pc only allows 60hz so using a 60hz monitor)
Storage: OS installed on SSD, rFactor2 installed on standard HDD

I am currently using medium to high(not ultra) settings in the game but still experience some screen freezes.

Is there anything specific I can try?

4GB video card could be an issue on some tracks. Pressing Ctrl-F in the game should display a graph which indicates memory use, and you should be able to get frame rates and time as well (maybe try a few presses, it toggles a couple of different things). Ctrl-C is good also to check CPU use, in case anything strange is going on there. The purple section (bar, and histogram) will in particular will indicate if it's causing any freezes.

I have the same card,all in ultra less the rain drops and post processing in med

 

how you put everthing to ultra with gtx1050ti 4gb vram. just nords or lemans or spa track above the vram usage of 4gb of your card, with there new tracks the vram usage is huge, and with official s397 gt or protocars, with lots of opponent, it is bigger.

 

in second markett there is a lot of products coming from uncle sam try their product it s over the europe or asia

I normaly do not use opponents is devmod,yes i got less fps in Nords,the rest runs very good.Again whit rain drops turning off,oh and my card is overclocked,900mhz in memory clock and 100mhz in gpu clock,and more voltage too,do not pass the 65 degrees celcious,great card actualy.

 

Windows 10 pro.

 

I press Ctrl+F, frame rates go above 60, I think this is the problem. It goes to 73 sometimes

personnaly for grphism that is very confort important i have set without dsr and put in high level the texture
i let the game for anticrenelage to set
in display i put off to all except for track low player ultra texture ultra and x8 anistropic fps is 250 on azur track with f1 88 mod
