If you look real close or even pause video at 5:46 you can see a Blue & White Merc (camera above looking down) No17 written on its roof in luminous yellow. But yeah they can get round the hairpin well enough. The hardest car to get round there in is the Callaway Corvette, its steering loock is very low and inless i position it just right I'll be hitting the barrier myself trying to get that thing round. As you can see from the video there is a Ferrari that clipped it a couple of times but only seems to be when they slightly (or drastically) alter their lines due to traffic. I'll have to double check with just Mercs, but im pretty sure from practice runs that ive seen them get round ok. Of course its worth mentioning here that the Mercs (until a reasonably recent update were a problem at any track and A.I. would crash anywhere and everywhere. They are much better now though! All i can say is im very happy now i've bought it, and believe men if it had turned out to be a bodge job after waiting this long i would have tried for a refund! But yeah, v happy indeed!
I just tried with 1992 F1 cars and they still all hit the armco at the first apex of Nouvelle Chicane. Am I missing something?
My testing has meaning for me as I am preparing a season in the ASR Modding 1992 cars. That's why I wanted to know if Monaco works.
I'm not familiar with the mod but I know the speedstep values of some mods are affecting even overtaking on straights, and those values can certainly impact AI negotiating small radius corners, so that might be one place to start looking. Assuming similar official cars do a better job of course.
I'm trying to help you. The issue could be in the cars mod. If the track works well with official cars you should probably ask the car mod author.
