Recently I'm having some problems with AI, when they pit, for a tyre change, fix some damage or whatever, then don't stop, they just pass through the pitlane as if they are serving a drive-through. In a race, when they have to stop to, for example, new tyres, they will enter the pitlane, speed into the pitlane for a few seconds, then get back on the speed limit, and just leave the pitlane as if they are serving a drive-through, then because they're tyres are old, they will do this every lap. All the garages and pit spots are there, I can stop normally, but the AIs don't, what do I do?

    There can be several Reasons.
Do the Pit Spots have Waypoints generated (the green Crosses in DevMode, with AIW Editor opened)?
Also check if there are overlapping Corridors of the main and the Pit Path, between the XPitIn and XPitOut Objects.

I'm having this problem in 2 different tracks, in one of them I defined the garage and pit spot waypoints myself more than once and the green crosses do not show, and the other one I used the default AIW converted from rfactor 1, it has the green crosses, both have this problem. I'll take a better look in the corridors now.

@GBJsch To get the missing Pit Spot Waypoints generated, open the AIW Editor and select
"unsupported/test options" and then "reset special waypoints".
Then click "save waypoints", leave the track to the menu and enter the track again.
Open the AIW Editor again and click "save waypoints" again.
The green Crosses for the Pit Spots should be generated now.
Test if the Problem is solved.
I you can not solve the Problem(s), you can upload the Track(s) and send me the Link by private Conversation.
    I'll check it then.

i forgot .... also check if the X Objects all sticking through the Track Surface!
To avoid Problems, at least 1 m of their Height should be below of the Surface.

Whenever you add Pit, Grid ... Spots to an existing AIW File, do that "reset special waypoints" Routine.
It doesn't hurt, but helps to avoid Problems, caused by missing Waypoints.

Open AIW file in notepad or similar after setting positions. Set TrackState to 155. Then reload the track in editor and save aiw file. This will regenerate the connections.

Afaik Reset Special Waypoints can also remove your pit in slow down markers too I think?
