This worked for me and got rid of the thin vertical line. Here are my config settings for the 49" Samsung CRG9. You just need to add the additional three lines below. When I am in game I have the option to adjust for All screens or each screen independently. SubViews=2 UseSubViewParams=2 ViewParams=(0.400, 0.338, 0.600, 13.000, 0.000) // screen width (m), screen height (m), eye distance (m), side angle (deg), bezel gap (m) LeftView=(0.400, 0.338, 0.600, 13.000, 0.000) RightView=(0.400, 0.338, 0.600, 13.000, 0.000)
It works with a single input cable. You would just need to change the measurements in the config file to reflect your monitor size.
I've tried this and got the multiview working. However even though I set custom resolution to 5118x1440 I still see a line down the screen as in the original post. Anyone know what .ini file to edit to set screen resolution?
All is almost perfect with my new ultrawide, 5118x1440, 13°. BUT there is an aterfact with rain, caused I guess with road reflection, the both left/right "virtual line" shadows appear, it's more visible on the bonnet or hood cam, but less in cockpit cam. Any solution to have a perfect ultrawide support ?
Can you show a screenshot? Presumably it's not a pixel issue, as you've set the resolution correctly, perhaps a bezel gap or multiview mismatch?
I have found the issue, it's like I thought SSR road reflection, it has artefacts like in ACC but less than ACC. In ACC with rain the wipers and SSR road reflection have issue. Sadly no fix. no rain, no SSR reflection = no issue wet road, SSR (low to maximize the issue) = issue cropped issue I will race in the cockpit cam with the rain, sadly I like the bonnet cam and I'm very sensitive to graphics bugs. And it's far less bugged than SSR in ACC.
@AlexHeuskat I can't test right now, but I wonder if it's just the way SSR interacts with a 'screen edge'. Although for you it's all on the same screen, for the SSR it's butting up against a virtual screen edge so the (low resolution) reflection is kind of running out of input data on one side. Question though, you seem to not be running multiview? Are you running the 'triple' mode to keep the HUD etc centered? Just curious.
Yes I use multiview, the issue is with multiview and ultrawide, I have not tested but im sure I have no issue with ultrawide and no multiview. Yeah I have no issue with the real triple monitors....the fake triple and ultrawide is not perfect. Sad, will maybe play with distortion but no artefact.
