    Please explain the Attack Mode feature for single player. When I read the statement that "this feature set has only been implemented for online multiplayer activity," I assumed that it was not turned on for single player offline races. Yet when I finished my 30 minute race with the new Berlin track and the 2021 cars, I was disqualified for not using all of my attack modes. I really don't want to use Attack Mode offline because it gives me an unfair advantage over the AI. Can it be turned off? If not, can the number of times it must be used for a race be turned to 0 or 1?

    So, it's in FE_2021_Upgrades.ini in the cars' mas file. Is there anywhere else to set this?

    UpgradeType="Attack Mode Mod"
    {
    UpgradeLevel="ATTACK MODE MOD"
    {
    Description="Attack Mode Settings"
    HDV=[ATTACKMODE]
    HDV=AttackModeEngineMap=8
    HDV=AttackModeTimeDuration=30.0
    HDV=AttackModeActivationRequirement=3
    HDV=AttackModeMaxArmings=5
    HDV=AttackModeArmingDuration=5.0
    }

    One last thing and then I'll stop. When you customize the car, there are some new options--the halo, fuel consumption by race time, mix limit and Attack Mode. When you click Attack Mode Mod there's only one option--Attack mode mod. There's no option, it appears, to turn it off. And if I leave that window open too long, RF2 crashes to desktop. The same is true with the mix limit--it's either on or on and there doesn't seem to be a way to deselect it.

    On a positive note, thank you for closing up the inside walls at New York where the AI constantly got stuck.

    Are there any plans to add attack mode for the full monaco version?
    Because the 2021 cars gonna race that layout if I'm not mistaken.

    I'm wondering, no one tried the Formula E with new tires?
    The Formula E cars where one of those, where I always had the impression that they are to easy to drive, to easy to drift or to catch slides. With the new tires, now the cars feel a lot better IMO. It took me quite a while to (re-)learn Hong-Kong track and find the limit, as i'm an average driver only.
    Don't worry, you're still able to slide the cars, it's a bit more challanging, you need quick(-er) hands and it's a lot less likely to drift the car through the whole corner, like seen before. Some may not like the new physics, as it is more likely to loose control and ruin a race. But I think they behave a lot more realistic now, and that should always be main goal in a simulation game.
    Hope to see this kind of overhaul with other vehicles like GT-cars as well!
    Good job S397 !

    I'm an average driver on my best days and I run the FEs offline most of the time. I think you have to be a good driver to appreciate changes in physics and tires and things like that. What I have found though is that it's harder to brake with the new cars than it was with the old ones.

    Just found this video by this far more talented guy. Look's like indeed it doesn't change much with sliding behavior. Just look at his lap, right at the end of the video.

    Im getting old !:(

    Try to move brake balance quite a few clicks to the rear.

    I did here. Marcel confirmed the updated physics are already in there, but as you can see in my video, it didn't fix it completely

    Why is the physics update missing from the changelogs?

    Not a clue. I thought at first it wasn't updated either. Kind of weird as it's pretty much the point of a changelog
