Thanx, davehenrie! You mean this thread: https://forum.studio-397.com/index....-player-json-settings-to-adjust-the-ai.67754/ I mean the in game slider in %,is it the same? 0% to 100 % = 0 to 1? I have it on 22% for now.
It is the AI auto calibration mode. If this is not at 0 (so no wisdom file is written) you will not be able to join a server. Game will crash. LINE 125 "Autocalibrate AI Mode":0, Cheers
Hey @Audere est facere , would you happen to know some tips or settings for oval AI racing? The guidelines you shared with us for road racing were very helpful.
Hello. Can you have a look at the Bathurst AIW, please? When it rains, GT3s always run into problems in some turns.
I will have a look for this maybe next week as I already have an idea due to something I read couple of days ago about the Stock Car mod.
I haven't created the WET path for it yet mate, I will as soon as I've done the new 80's Bathurst works, Laguna and Willow Springs.
Hello Sir! Was that for the AIW for Hellboys Bathurst track (v0.71)? I was trying to run a race with S387 GT3s yesterday, and they were incapable of getting up the mountain, I couldn't even finish a lap without being battered Also: With The Fast Rolling Start the AI all lined up on the left, then moved to positions and crashed. With the Rolling start the AI all lined up out of race order, then moved on and crashed. Many thanks!
i have question regarding the terms in the AIW files to know how much pitbox for the pit stops are available on S397 Nurburgring / NS 2.08/2.09 layout GP + No chicane in file: Nurburgring_GP_NoChicane.AIW pitlanes=1 i understand only 1 pitlane no doubt startinggrid=104 i understand 104 positions max possible on the grid pitspots=52 here i am not sure is it the number of garage for parking a car ? or is it the number of pit box for fuel and tires changing ? garagespots=2 i understand 2 car for 1 garage auxspots=8 i understand 8 auxilary positions (spot) but don't kow for which use but when look for the pit section only 30 spots so 1 pit box for 2 cars ? is it what i understand well
Don't trust the Values at the Top of an AIW File. To get the correct Number of Pit Spots, Garages, Grid Spots.... it's better to count them. For the GP Layout without the Chicane, you have. 30 Pitspots (where the Cars stop for getting Fuel, Tires...) 60 Garages (2 Garages for each Pit Spot) 102 Grid Spots (yes, 104 are the max possible currently) 32 Alt Grid Spots 2 Aux Spots (for the Safety Car, normally one on the starting Lane and one in the Pit Lane)
OK thanks @redapg we manage to tweak and add 15 pitbox to get 45 pitbox instead of 30, but now we have another problem. On track when driving in race condition, hitting the curb the track cuts are very more often but we are driving with a normal racing line, not pushing har as qualy lap. question: is it because we chnange the AIW in pit lane that it chage AIW on track ? Or are there parmeters to set in ".GDB" or ".RFM" ? also
If you only did add new Pitboxes and Garages, that normally wouldn't affect the Cut Detection. Check the Cut Corridors and also the Cut... GDB Entries, if there are some. To be sure: was the Cut Detection different, before you did add the Pitboxes?
Hi I am enjoying the S397 version of Portland, but I am having trouble with the AI. I have the strength at 100% and the aggression at 25% and the GTEs have difficulty with the complex of turns starting at the end of the back straight and ending with the start of the front straight. They tend to overshoot the turns and occasionally flip over. The Tattus USF-17s do the same with a greater tendency to flip. Anyone else having this issue? If so, it would be great if Mark could have a look, or just add it to the to do list. Thanks in advance.
Yeah it seems they changed the track but not the AIW, so the path is not consistent with the new kerbs anymore.
Hi Redapg so yes bascilly we wanted to change only the pit boxes (garages were fine for 60 cars 30*2) before edition no problem with track cut it was in regular stanrdar of driving on S397 tracks limits and yes after the edition of AIW, the complete track cut detection was bad even a small wheel on a curb and get a cut
That is a bit strange. Would you upload your modified AIW File and send me the Link by private Conversation? Or better, upload the whole Update rfcmp that you have made (i guess you only have made an Update). Or did you repack the whole Track? I can check it and maybe find out what went wrong.
