I've noticed (along with others) an issue with the new Bentley GT3. The front end of the car feels very light, especially compared to the older Bentley. On tracks like the Nurburgring or Bathurst the car will actually go airborne over the bumps. There are multiple places on the Nurburgring where the front tires come off the ground. I don't know what would cause this, but none of the other GT3 cars do this and it just seems incorrect.
Sadly I can confirm there is a big problem with the A.I. drivers for the Bentley. Just tested at Silverstone with 40 cars (GT3's). I was about 30th just off the pace of the next car. The last 10 cars were all Bentleys, none infront what so ever and running over 1.30 secs slower than everything else. Not only that i jumped into the cockpit of one of the A.I. driven Bentleys to find that they are doing the same thing the Merc AMG does, full locking it when totally unessarcary. Obviously this is a pretty serious problem which requires immediate attention. Hopefully Paul is reading these comments and will flag it up with the team. I was very much looking forward to a Bentley GT3 race with my mate Pete and a full field of A.I. today aswell, we had it planned as ive got a day off. Anyway apart from that and as far as the car goes to drive, as i siad in a post earlier... I fecking love it! Please fix the a.i. though!
yea, but there is still nothing from S397 about this, so I guess we need to spam it everywhere until they acknowledge this problem even.
That's the whole point of this thread. Whether it works or not idk, but I'm trying to report things the way Rene told me to do it.
Yep. The AI has been broken since about 1109 I believe so yea all new content is going to have issues. Not sure I've ever seen S397 acknowledged the AI issues though.
At least some issues in general, yes: https://forum.studio-397.com/index....viour-not-fixed-yet.65632/page-4#post-1040485
Thank you I didn't see that. Doesn't give me hope that it's a priority, but acknowledgement is the first step
I'm sure, some day, some issues will be tackled...but i also think, it will still take a long time... Btw. Christopher Elliot has responded to the Wheelie issue, "they are looking into it".
After this mornings updates to the GT3 cars are the release of the Ferrari GT3, I went back to Nurburgring to see if the "front lift" of the Bentley had been fixed as was stated in the patch notes. It has not, and while testing the Bentley i noticed that the new Ferraris rear wheels jump, kinda the opposite of the Bentley. There are two places on Nords where both cars get airborne. Here are link to a video of each jump. For this video the 2020 Bentley is v 1.05 and the Ferrari is v1.0.
The thought crossed my mind that maybe the default setup ride height was too low and the car was bottoming out and then rebounding at the absolute worse time to cause this. However even with either maximum ride height and minimum ride height the car does the same thing.
