Another good news is that some great sound moder joined me in this project.
    It's @doddynco

If you want to hear what he is doing as wip follow this link.

    Cheers

    ps :
@ChiefWiggum , i know you are busy but can you take a look at what is the problems for your cars and 1988 ones as a rendering work?
I've used asr formula ones in these shots because that's how your cars will look if you can correct the strange materials bug since new graphical updates.
Thanks to tell me on MP what can i do to give justice to your cars mate ;)

Yes, it more than likely works with a H-shifter, but what about the people who use sequential?
You're right about modifying the setup, and the way you worded it sounds like I'd be helping for the setup to be put into the mod so honestly I'm somewhat interested. Although if you didn't mean it that way, that's fine.
And yeah, maybe "realistic" was a poor choice of words lol, however I still stand by it feeling unnatural.

For sequential shifter, you can use a blip of throttle each time you downshift. Im not using this way but it should work.
Flat6 series have the same needed blip to avoid spin on downshifting and i think they have access to some real data.
So iguess this is the way it should but canbe wrong

The issue for me is not downshifting, it works fine using throttle blip. However, going through a corner, there is intense lift-off oversteer, to a point where you practically can't lift off without spinning (on stock setup at least). No other mods/cars I've driven act this way, and that's why I believe it isn't right.

AH ok, i get the point.
Well, something related to differential and/or torque values i guess.
Will check it but i have a very long to do list now lol ;)
    (that's my fault lol )

I had same experience at the beginning driving 88 cars (spun under braking). I tried adjust brake balance, diff coast but nothing helped. Solution for me was to raise lower gears. They caused the spun under braking while downshifting; in default setup they have been set too low.

I am really grateful for this mod, already in its original form.

But the modifications for the 86er version made by Trollay, with which the cars are on an authentic level, put the crown on the whole thing.

My wife just shakes her head that I watch 1.5 hours of AI racing without driving myself...but honestly, I feel completely transported to 1986 and the races are really exciting!

Thanks to everyone who created this mod jewel for us in their spare time!

A little note at the end: Johnny Dumfries was never really on the same level as Ayrton Senna, but here he is. To compensate for this, I always let poor Johnny start from the end of the field and he usually devils himself 20 places forward!

Waouw whar a great comment. My wife do the same lolll.
For dumfries, i already put him slower but not too much for now because he has different veh file already.
(Means, you will be slower using his car too.)
So i can put more changes in talent but dont want to hurt dumfries fan
Cheers and thank you for the support

This looks fantastic! Although are there any plans to give the tracks any visual updates? I can't help but feel the cars look a little...I'm not sure if "out of place" is the right phrase but it's what I can think of. They seem to have a little too much shine to them around the top, although I'm not certain if this was an intentional choice. Despite that I'm still very excited to see these new updates rolled out.

The tracks road surface and some other stuffs are updated as you can see
The cars are a bit too shiny for now and i need to work on it.
Consider that as a first pass and not a definive one. Some tools and guide will come also from studio 397, so it s just a base for future.
But you can imagine howmuch work it is lolll.
I just think it work like this already as a 1.0 version and give more justice to the whole package. Be sure i wont let it stay like this
    Cheers
