Hey, just a question, i want to place my manual as a pdf file but i want that it will be part of the workshop mod.
I can put it in a mas file of coruse but if i do that, the people not familiar with mas file will not read it.
I would like to make that this pdf will be installed in a folder where users can go to find it without using mas2 process.
    Any idea?

    Thanks

Isn't it possible to upload it in the same way like a template, that it gets stored in the template folder?

    Thanks alot
I have ask in mod section and it seems that it would be working if i just put the pdf in content folder by my workshop.
If it works, i am really near release day.

Saluté mate. Highly appreciate the release of your work!

Day one-> first bug report: Please check the loading sequence of the 1986 tracks. Seems like the loading screens are missing and the game switches between Black screen and GUI while loading the track. This leads to a massive flicker. Other than that, the first impression is really cool. (and the PDF as well)
Hope you can get your hands on to the PBR/IBL shaders in the near future. This is really missing.

Again, awesome work and truely one of the best mods for rF2 so far.

Hi, many thanks for the feedback and support.
For the loading screens that's because i don't have made new icons or loading screens so it's my fault but too lazy to make them now lol.
That's in the to do list ;)

"Better to uninstall F1 1986 and 1988 original mods to avoid file conflicts.
I hope to fix that in the future. Sorry"

this is no good way, I told you be careful that there is no conflict with other Mods, and your Solution is to uninstall the other Mods?
we drive the Simracers F1 1986 Mod in our League, I will not uninstall it to test your mod.

I have a doubt that it will work but normally it should without uninstalling.
I will check this and see deeper but i needed to test first how it was working with steam publishing.

Edit : you are right, it's not working for now, i'll check it and correct it of course,
    sorry, my bad.
I've put a correction on steam presentation, hope you like it ;)
Really sorry about that mate :s

Fantastic job on the mod! The 86 cars have quickly become some of my favourite cars in simracing as a whole.

    @ChiefWiggum
Finished the rework of the files to avoid any conflicts, passed all my day and night on but tested and working
Now, no need to uninstall anything but don't know how to update it with steamcmd stuff.
If anyone know, that would be smart to tell me, should not be too complex i hope.
Cheers and again sorry for that Chief. ;)

    @ChiefWiggum ,
Jobs done, any conflicts files are corrected.
Worked all day and night to correct it fast, hope you like it ;)

For all other users, can you tell me if update works for you?
You should have a version 0.91 for 1986/88 tracks and cars.
    Cheers

Not sure if this is a good question or not but considering the fact that you've been allowed to do handling tweaks for 86, would it be possible for you to fix the 88 cars' lift-off/braking oversteer? It's rather unrealistic and the issue's plagued these cars and made them frustrating to drive since rF1.

Well, in my mind it's not an issue and i'm used to it by downshifting with a good heel and toe technique.
    (It's in the manual)
But you need a h shifter and take time to do it.
You can also help modify the setup especially the differential values.
But, none of us have driven these cars so i think it's like real but who knows?
