I don't mind the milky background color but adding some more color options in the settings would make everyone happy. Would make the UI unique too.

Had a look through most pages and couldn’t see an answer on this.
    1. Is the mas utility tool going to be in the new UI so that we can compile mods?
    2. Will a dedicated server feature be available to host in the new UI or will we need to use Steam CMD?

I hope that they don't remove the Seamcmd. Otherwise a lot of communities couldn't launch our servers, because we need to login anonymously and it's not possible with the UI

You still can start it directly. ;)
Go to the folder where it is stored (..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Support\Tools) and start it, or create a shortcut to start it and move that to the desktop or to wherever you want.

    Thanks Bernd
I’m guessing to use dedicated server they must be preparing to add via the new UI.
I haven’t played around with Steam CMD but it definitely looks a little tricky, I know some people need it as lagg said but hoping they leave the simple ability to host via the UI for those quickly wanting a simple mechanism to host a game and leave Steam CMD for those needing it.

Yes and it's not the only thing that is missing yet in the new UI. :)

dedicated exe is in X:\steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64\
    create a shortcut with target "X:\steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64\rFactor2 Dedicated.exe" +path=".."

    Thanks Akela_DE
When I ran from the old UI the Dedicated Server works as it should but when I double click X:\steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64\ it doesn't work. Saying No mod files or installed mods found. Unable to continue. Please download and install at least one mod?
Or does the path you explained fix this?

    Yes, you need the path.

Thanks mate, that did the trick so it means we can compile mods and host from using the folder structure but using the new UI. Now better learn the new UI :)

    the MAS2.exe is in X:Steam/steam/steamapps/common/rFactor 2/Support/Tools/

    modmgr.exe in X:steam/steamapps/common/rFactor 2/Bin32/

the launcher is just that .. .a launcher, a UI that starts stuff from filesystem.
Learn some filesystem magic just by clicking around with the Windows Explorer and look for some ...exes

    I've got two RF2 installations:
    -a steam installation
-a stand alone installation carried out in accordance with the indications given on site
I installed the worshop and other mods on another hard drive so as not to overload the RF2 installations.
    Hence the following questions:
-will it be possible to manage the mods directories on the new user interface?
-Will it be possible to update my RF2 standalone installation in the same way as before with the new user interface?

Thanks in advance for your answers

As I said before, i have two installations of RF2.
In the standalone version, I use the old IU. I can run a race on the circuit of Le Mans without any problem.
In the Steam version, I use the new UI. And there, I can't launch a race in Le Mans because appears the error "enable to allocate memory...". If I switch back to the old UI, everything goes normally.
    What's the problem?
I specify that I use an pagefile managed by windows
    Thank you for your answers.

    Hello, it's me again.
In the Steam version with the new UI, the graphical configuration of RF2 is launched from the Steam interface.
In a standalone version of RF2 with the old IU, the graphical configuration of RF2 is done from the interface. The problem is that this configuration no longer works. Is this normal? How to configure RF2 graphically in the old interface?
Once again, thank you for your answers.

The rFconfig tool works for me with the old UI.
I'm not sure what are referring with "standalone version of RF2". What build are you speaking about?
In any case i'd try to check the integrity of the rF2 files.

    Build 1118.
Standalone version of RF2 is a second installation of RF2.
    RF2 files integrity tested.

And you can't start the rFConfig from the launcher?
Habe you tried launching it directly.
    It's in the bin32 folder
