    Hi guys,

I'm having a real issue with my CPU. I've just got a new build (specs below) and the CPU is constantly maxed out on the purple bar in-game.

The AI are stuttering and my car is slow and undriveable. I've tried everything to sort it; I've lowered the number of visible vehicles, lowered the number of AI cars, reduced graphics, enabled and disabled aggressive threading (changing versions on Steam for that) but nothing will work.

    9th-gen Intel Core i7 9700k
    ROG STRIX Z390-H Gaming motherboard
    GeForce RTX 2070 Super Ventus
    16GB DDR4 Ram

Any advice or help would be really appreciated.

I think there is a line on the controller. Json or player. Json where you can separate the FFB thread or something like this on putting "true" (use separate thread something).

    Perhaps its the pb

    Thanks for the reply.

I tried that too but it didn't seem to solve anything sadly.

Really can't work out what's causing the problem!

@Tomoz1123 When you configure the graphics settings (in the launcher, when you click the gear symbol and then the button "Video Settings"), have you selected your card?
That setting has a bug, where the correct graphic card don't gets selected automatically.
It normally shows "Auto", as long as you don't select your card manually.
If it's on "Auto" and you select your card, does that change anything?
If yes, take care that you always set the correct card, when you have turned off the computer and started it again, because the setting gets lost then.

    Hiya,
Yeah my GFX card is the one that's selected but again doesn't seem to fix it.

On Steam you can roll back to previous versions of the game through the Beta menu. The aggressive threading checkbox appears to have gone from later versions so I had to roll back to an earlier version of the game to get the option back and see if it made a difference, which it sadly didn't.

Try the method that often solves strange problems.
Before you start the game, opt out of all betas and don't use older builds, then rename the folder
    ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData
    Then start the game.
A fresh folder gets generated now, with fresh user files.
    Does that help?
If that don't helps, use the devmode, do you have the same problem there?
