Hello everybody. It sounds a bit strange, but I can't register in the official AMS2 forum. It says "Type any letter in the word 'Brazil' for varication. I have now tried several times to insert any letter in the word. Each time the error message wrong captcha comes .. what am I doing wrong?
Thank you. I would like to come back to it. I am currently in contact with a dev through Discord. Seems to be a bug.
The feedback about YT seems to be mostly very positive. Both from the Physics and the FFB. I would like to test it before I press the buy button. The content is first class. Especially the Copa Classic and the Classic vehicles in general. can anyone say more about beta 3? My Sims are currently rF2 and RRE. The V8 received a very good response.
The v8 is indeed one of the best cars that I tried extensively. Open wheelers seem to have the problem that they are too easy to catch, and nearly impossible to spin. V8, and other tint tops you can really play with and seems to be closer to realistic when going far over the limit. This sim is not going to be finished when they release it at the end of this month. I would say, wait for that before throwing 120 dollars at it. It will release at 45 dollars I think. To compare it to rF2 and RR, the tires feel more like rubber. On the other hand though it is not a great and realistic as RR or rF2. Here I have me driving, just raw footage. You can see how grip changes from dry to wet, how the car reacts with slicks on the wet (it didn't change all that much in beta 3, this is 2, it is a little bit better though). At 14:10 (time code in the comments) you can really see what I mean with they are hard to turn around.
I will probably wait a little longer. But very impressive for a beta. If you compare with ACC how long it took until everything finally works. I hope Reiza gets everything out. A working Sim from the ground up would be great .
Can't compare ACC and AMS2 really. One is a full development, the other is almost a mod (in an engine that has been already updated by original creator since PC2) Reiza does an amazing job but ppl need to take it easy on the praising really... the day they actually develop a sim (i.e if they had made AMS2 from AMS1 which would require deep changes) then we'll be able to compare.
I stick to my opinion. It's very impressive for a beta. Reiza makes no secret of the fact that they are not developers, but modders. If only all betas would look something like this .. The boys know what they can do and do not overdo it. I respect that. I am very excited to see in which direction it will develop. Something big can come up to us.
I understand and agree with you in terms of development. But for us, as users, the important things are, phisics, FFB, features, graphics, UI, etc. If Reiza is able to give us what we want without developing anything, for me is OK.
