@Akela_DE Zoom in enough and nothing is clean and crisp. This is @Highlandwalker DDS opened in Photoshop zoomed at only 200%
Thx guys, yes, i asked because of transition between parts. I wanted to paint the whole lower parts of the cup porsche front black, but its a nightmare to get a clean line between the upper and lower parts
you have to follow the wireframe. sometimes I export the wireframe too, just to see where the lines are on the car.
That's something I do basically first thing. This colour grid from @FuNK! is great for alignment and for finding where all those loose parts on the template belong on the car. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/using-a-color-grid-for-painting-skins.62095/
Thx, i already exported the wireframe to inkscape to create a clean path there and imported that back to the template. I know where the line has to be (wireframe on), but if you paint along the wireframe - Anyway, ill try again
You have to use all the help you can get, and painting always has been the easiest but at the same time challenging way of modding! But seriously. You really don't have to be overly accurate. Real liveries are not that accurate at all and many even don't really care about proper line-ups. It's just your inner Monk
I use gimp, and in that there is a path tool which is easier to make curved lines with. Unfortunately its not editable vectors like inkscape. once you have converted the path to raster you cant edit it. could have been cool to have a real vector tool in gimp.

No GP this weekend so thought I would play around with skins for the FSR 2020 mod, I have always like the FSR mod nice physics, sounds and model a fun car. See how many teams I complete no promises... Obviously these are not perfect as the model is the same for all cars but they are not bad either ;-) This one still needs a little work will upload when complete...
Paulus, can you help with some brand names or link to logos? I have - Van wijnen - De Groot - Bullit Can you name others? This is how far I got this evening with 2-3 hours work. The red part of the windscreen is leftovers from another livery. got a few more logos...
