    Hi
I can not access the Rfactor2 payment cars unless I have an internet connection, I can select any car or circuit mod (free) but not the official ones, why ?? if I bought them and it coincides that I have no connection for whatever ... I can not use them? This seems to me a serious problem, possibly for many users,
    Thanks in advance

Can you describe in more detail the steps you are taking when you try to use these paid cars without an internet connection? I'm asking because it should be possible to use that content off-line. I just tried it myself here, and I can launch the game, select such a car and start driving.

I think I saw that before by someone that lived in a boat or something. Basically if you login to Steam and open rf2 then you can use the cars for some time offline, after a while they wont be available anymore and you'll need to login and open rf2 once again

    I had tested this

1 disconnect the network adapter. In this moment, you lost internet connection, of course
2 launch the game in single player
3 in the game, you only can chose the mod content from workshop. Any payment content don't appear listed

    Just tested this.
Make sure Steam Client and rF2 +content is up to date.
Select "Steam" (top left of page)
    Select "Go Offline"
Paid content is available to race in single player.

And now deactivate your network adapter and try it again.

Unplugged network cable, paid content still available.
Restart PC with network cable still unplugged
    Paid content still available.

    Indeed.
Ihave tested it again and now the paid cars are available.
I will try to reproduce what i have made the first time, where they weren't available.

    I could reproduce it.
I switch to steams "offline" mode while the internet is connected and shut down rfactor 2 and steam.
Then i deactivate the network adapter and start steam in offline mode, of course.
Then the paid cars are gone.
The tracks seem all to be there.
    Really strange

When I switched to Offline mode I didn't have rF2 running, only Steam.
Also, when you say "deactivate the network adapter" I did nothing except unplug network cable from computer.

I should have taken a look into the launchers setting screen, where the start log is shown, when the cars where gone.
There i get the messages that a lot of mods (cars and tracks) can not be verified and are removed from the inventory.
    But only DLC content.
And the unlock.bin files are all there.

Exactly the same happens to me, the case is that sometimes if and sometimes not, it must be for some subtle and / or strange detail. In any case it is a problem most of the time and does not resemble at all the operation of all the other mod. I find it unfortunate that the best mod and paid content is not available depending on circumstances. Given that the rest of the mod does not happen.

In general they do not work¡,divergently from other cars. Simply only some time you will get it and if you did not close steam in such a way either, that is, if tomorrow I do not have internet for circumstances of life, as I do not "close the steam in such a way" I will not be able to access paid cars until you have interne again maybe in several weeks. I find it unacceptable more being paid.
In any case, thank you very much for the attention and intention. Health

    From here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=3160-agcb-2555

    How to setup Offline Mode

Please follow the instructions below to successfully configure Offline Mode on your PC:

    1. Start Steam online - make sure the "Remember my password" box on the login window is checked.
    2. Verify that all game files are completely updated.
    3. Launch the game(s) you would like to play offline to verify that there are no further update or installation requirements. Shut down the game and return to Steam once you have confirmed that the game can be played.
    4. Go to Steam > Settings > Account to ensure the "Don't save account credentials on this computer" option is not selected
    5. From the main Steam window, go to the Steam menu and select Go Offline
    6. Click Restart in Offline Mode to restart Steam in Offline Mode.
