That didn't help the resolution, but it stretched the replay menu across the hole screen, which is good. :) Thx.

after turning off Widescreen UI and stretch UI in the old UI , the beta is starting.
This switch has to be set by program.
after that i have GT3 content updates and restart request in a loop, cancel works and i can start a game.
First short Impression: UI reacts to slow and like others said: list the favorites if i click on MP, not in the main screen. Better: give us a refresh button, favs should be a static list<-means:fast!
In game : looks ok, except the setup screen is way to cluttered, 1 whole page only for fuel - there is room for improvements ;)
and how do one get out of spectator fullscreen ? Esc is not working, that you have to move the mouse is the opposite of intuitive

opted out, not ready for use.

I'm sorry to read it didn't work. Many users here and on other forums got the UI to work by setting their GPU from auto to the actual GPU.

This is correct opt back out and make sure it is done then opt back in. Make sure the GPU is set to your dedicated gpu and not auto.

You can also use the configuration tool to change the device, you reach, by starting rF2 over the steam library page. (when opted in)

    Small remark. Admin commands.
I typed "/admin [password]" and there is no feedback. ("You are an administrator" or something)

should we listen to the 5% who are dissatisfied or should we leave the new UI for the 95% for whom it works very well...?

And yes, you should listen to 5% if sth is not working ... what a question

for the moment everything ok, just a small problem with the throttle of my T500. At first it did not work (although it did detect it) click on the "detect" key and solved

Big thanks, S397 for the new UI. It's definitely a step forward, and will surely be refined over the next months.
    First impressions and feedback:
    - My mouse mileage significantly increased compared to the old UI. There's too much distance between necessary clicks
    - Too much diagonal mouse movement needed to navigate. I prefer horizontal and vertical movements. It's easier for my eyes to find the choices
    - Main functions need much more emphasis. Like main track and car selection buttons in race screen, etc.
    - There are way too many submenus in the UI and lots of empty spaces. More multiple choices needed in the main screen and other places. For example: multi and single player button right below the "race" button, etc.
    - The circular design for menus looks impressive, but confusing, hard to comprehend at a single glance, and needs too much mouse movement to choose from
    - My daughter usually chooses cars by colour, and It's a bit hard now with B&W unselected cars :)

We can name this build Alpha/Beta/Early Access ...It doesn't matter.
We all knew that there will be bugs, glitches or not perfect features.

They said multiple times that first releases will be a base and they will build upon it.
We're all here to test and report back to 397, So if you can't stand this, just opt out of beta and wait for a fully functional version.
There is a difference between "testing and reporting back" (beta testing) and complaining.

The thing is, when i use the normal build and i quit, it still shows rF2 running in steam, until i force quit it by shutting down steam completely and wait for the possibility to force shut down rF2 completely, i can't see any process in the task manager, when the game is shown running in steam, without still running in reality...

So there is more to the story, possibly.
Unfortunately, that's confused by many, not just the complainers. ;)
