The UI eta this month is only an unfinished beta,
Imo best await for the full official non beta

Unless you like to test/fiddle/tolerate bugs

A beta IS a final version with bugs to be found and fixed, technically there is no such thing as unfinished beta.

Bugs don't care what status the devs class software.
If a bug is hungry it will bite, alpha, beta,,,,,,,zebra.

If they meant the 15th, or 12pm on the 16th (being a 31-day month) they would have said so. Mid month isn't specific, and expectations shouldn't be either.

Plus, the only way to definitely meet a strict deadline without risking disaster is to be finished well beforehand and wait for the deadline to release it - which doesn't seem great for us.

Currently staying with relatives who have a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old - and sometimes I think they have more patience than some people here.

Patience? Have to be of a Saint waiting for this ui, think it's fair to say patience is wearing thin

Again, this shouldn't be a surprise. You've been around long enough to know things don't move fast here; we can all acknowledge that without having to go on about it every day. Instead of sitting here waiting and getting annoyed, go play something else to pass the time (if you run out of things to do in rF2).

I knew as soon as I mentioned patience I'd get some comment about it.

I asked a simple question, was more or less just stating the obvious and get a couple of great responses, seems people are a little sensitive when it comes to questioning the UI release

Well, I also pointed out that you posted prior to mid-month, so I guess that is great.

    Stupid gamers
buying alpha game, with solid UI, but made to believe that they are actually playing to a beta version, thus investing on bad development. Some even hide themselves behind the always in development lie, when they are either selling alpha games or simply a product which is a result of minimal poor design and bad development. To make it worst most of these games, with very few exceptions, never delivery what they promised and/or the result is horrible at best.

I posted on the 15th but at 10:52 so seeing there are 31 days this month I guess technically I was 1hour and 8 minutes early.

No, that's the 15th day of a 31 day month. You have to finish the 15th day to get halfway in a 30 day month. It's like being halfway through lap 15 on a 31 lap race - you've only completed 14.5 laps.

I'm good I have rre I want to invest in as its now getting a very good sim to play and there's ams2 round the corner . It could be that rf2 won't even get a look in 2020.

I'll always support rf2 doesn't mean I'll always play it.

Your method of support is, um....unique and maybe best kept private.

Not that unique, i play more AMS and R3E compared to rF2, but i'm always glad to see some new stuff coming to rF2, for example, because it's not bad at all, but pretty inconvenient to use, if you're just wanna do a sprint race or something comparable. It's not my go to choice for just hopping in and have some fun.
For long races with more planning beforehand, it is great to awesome, though.

@CrimsonEminence (oftopic) why i still dont like RRE even after update i dont get it.
also while AMS is super solid and hilarius sim i still prefer the depth of Rfactor 2.
RRE still feels like i m driving on an endless rubber surface.
that kind of driving feel that Rf2 offers cannot be found elsewhere not even iRacing.
