We flat screeners are more likely to become flat earthers than VR people.
I see new movement: flat tyrerers (those who underinflate their tyres on lowest pressures in rf2).
What's next? Flat trackers? Those who drive only on perfectly smooth tracks?

Taking all the negativ stuff aside I had great fun during last week racing the Le Mans 67 track with the matching endurance cars. I also had most of the fun in rf1 with mod stuff so... You don't allways have to use half done DLC's you paid for to have a good session.

Of course, I understand the frustration still.

My video clearly shows no tc on and you cannot spin the tires. Using the clutch method will not spin the tires either. I will not repeat this to you again because you simply are not listening. It is broken plain and simple.

I have no need to. When the GTE cars first came out this bug was not there. But it is after the BOP.

And even if it wasn't like that with the GTE before the update, which I remember differently, my statement is still correct that this problem was already introduced with the USF 2000 and continued with the GT3 and they have no problem with engine inertia.

drive the URD Detroit and watch the rpms unwind gradually when you lift the throttle. Then Drive a S397 GTE and watch the rpms vanish when you lift off. Just fall off a cliff.

EngineInertia=0.185, up that number... Takes three seconds.

If it is so easy why didn't 397 already fixed it?! Whether the solution is complex or simple, when it comes to official content it is up to 397 to maintain it without taking months before doing anything. Simply there is no excuse at all.

The thing is, that there is no myth around it. It's a known exploit in rF2 plain and simple. It's even more than an exploit, because it provides more "realistic" laptimes and behaviour to some cars...

under-inflation SHOULD produce faster lap times. HOWEVER, it also should produce much more heat from sidewall flex and the tire should only last a certain amount of time before overheating into oblivion. How much time before that happens??? Above my thought ceiling that is for sure.

No tyre overcooking or damage to them, when underinflated. I drive the Porsche Cup heavily underinflated, like i said often enough and also seen, in the video, i've posted in the Porsche Cup threads. Of course it should be faster...the Cup gains TWO seconds on two minuteso_O

You didn't show that the car specific traction control is turned off. There are two T/C's: One is an assist and can be used on any car, the other is in the car setup menu.

Look at my video again. I have it turned off in the difficulty settings. When it is turned off in the difficulty settings, it overrides the one built in car. I know this game like the back of my hand but thanks.

He means the one in the setup. You can use car built in TC, also without having it activated in the assists.

But it makes no difference...tyres also not spinning well, with TC override/0.

In case it helps, I set Player Detail and Texture Detail to High (was Full) and got my fps 70+ on GP and 50+ on 24h although it is hitching on the GP section of the 24h due to swapping, I think (memory is maxed out according to Task Manager).

    Running i7 2600k @ 4.2Ghz OC, 16GB RAM, 980 TI, 1080p triples

I thought the point of setup TC was that you don't need the assist on for it to function. It's part of the car.
