This normally happens if the texture is not albedo-ready, and/or the material wasn't set up properly (too reflective). That should be an easy fix though
I'll try to explain it in easier words and more in details... First of all if you think that I/we are so heedless to be not able to set DX11... uhmmm... all our mods were updated to the DX11 years ago. Obviously something wrong can always happens no doubt... All our mods have several features, one of them is to have mirrors working as mirrors also in external view, not only like other mods work due to the rF2 code. Of course functionality cannot be the same... i.e. you cannot adjust them, because "real" mirrors are managed by the rF2 code, specific shader and texture. To be clear, if you drive cockpit and tvcockpit view our mods allow mirrors working like any other mod. But if you watch mirrors from swingman view and external views other mods show a gray or painted static surface, if not developed with the same feature. If you look with attention from similar point of view (external), our mods show dynamically the scene reflecting like almost real mirrors. Have you ever noticed this specific feature? You are right when you say that in certain conditions mirrors shines looking at them from external view or looking at cars in front of you. Although a mirror obviously shines much more than a gray surface, for some unknown reason in the last update of the BMW something corrupted the mapping of these "fake" mirrors (left and right), so they distorce the images and point mostly to the sky, shining much more than usual. We'll fix it, but sincerely it is not a high priority. I hope this can clarify the issue without the need of not accurate deductions. Thank you
on all my personal mod , the ext Mirror are the same but without glow effect .. i didn't open your cars to watch your materials but very nice mods and good physics too if it can help ; if i remind on most of personal mod the material for ext Mirror is : "Cube Map Specular T1" or simple "T1" and the color of texture #202020 (real ext-mirror without glow effect on DX11)

BUT there is another issue wih rain, there is no rain/spray particles behind the cars, BUT i can only see in the mirros my rain particles behind my car and behind AI car it's in cockpit cam, with others we have spray particles solved with Headtilt plugin, i switch to bonnet cam, and i adjust
Thank you for release this Mod. This is very good car! I want to change Fuel tanks and Max Fuel. The present situation this car is good Fuel efficient but few tanks. I want to adjust because the amount of fuel tank doesn't on the same wavelength with other cars. (for example Radical RXC Turbo GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 Cup) So I will use this car in an endurance race on my server. That's why I create and use update performance patches. May I Distribute patches only for my server?

If you use it privately, feel free to change what you like. If you want to redistribute the mod you are free to do it, but not with an update. You need to create a new mod, new name to the mod, new names for classes, etc. to avoid any confusion with this one and you have my permission. The reason is that the mod was developed long time ago and in the time I updated it to the new code for tyres, engines, chassis, etc etc of rFactor2, also adding a fantasy class, but always keeping the original behavior, that is a must for this evergreen mod!
